Even without it, Drago was being trained by Soviet government trainers with the latest technology and training techniques at the time. Meanwhile, Lang bragged about how he trains alone. Drago would be way better prepared and built for the match. Easy KO by Drago.

Naturally, professional actors will make for more captivating characters. Stallone made a creative decision to sacrifice acting talent for a more "realistic" feel. I guess that was the logic for Rocky Balboa. Rocky 5 was probably Sly being cheap and not wanting to spring for an actual actor.
