He's simply never had a chin. Ever. Which is a shame because otherwise he is one of the most gifted boxers I've seen. But all that speed don't mean **** if you can't eat some hard shots. Freddy did all he could with him, teaching him to fight from the outside, to duck. But you gonna get hit.

Can't argue with the stoppage although I think he should have been stopped it in the 3rd. What's with spending an extra 10 seconds to ascertain if the fighter is OK, seems pretty unfair on the guy who scored the kd.

The bottom line is the guy is just not that bright ... he has all the tools but just does not use them correctly and he believes in his own hype and fights the wrong fight thinking he cannot lose.

He just has not chin and would be absolutely brutalized against the bigger punchers at 147.

New it was trouble for Khan when he was calling himself a superstar pre-fight and talking about a Mayweather fight. He's just so bad.

Khan just has a bad chin, everyone has always known it. He and his hardcore fans have always denied it but now even he must know. He needs to start fighting like a guy who has a bad chin. Garcia didn't look special to me, I guess there's a possibility he fights Mayweather next in which case he will get annihilated. At this point I think Khan should return to the UK and have a rematch with Prescott, It's probably an easy win at this stage and the fight will create a lot of interest from the British public.

Haye proving again that he's a very entertaining boxer when he's not fighting someone who's a lot taller than him. I hope he fights someone like Povetkin or Adamek next rather than Vitali.

What can a boxer do about a bad chin tbf to Khan?.
Surely having a sturdy chin is just something your born with, like an inate ability to take the pain and not KO.

Short of just having someone repeatedly punch you in the face till you get knocked out and get parkinsons, i dont see how you can "improve" your chin.

He is/was a bit of a hype job, and obvo he shouldnt try to tough it out and brawl, but even against a worse oppenent your going to get hit. Didnt learn his lesson from Maidana where he looked like he was going to drop at any second in some of the rounds.
