Re: SE Boxing Thread (still waiting for PBF v. Pac)

I quit, the judges have won.

Doubtful I stay up late ever again to watch another boxing match after the Pacman nonsense.

Can't believe this thread is still alive and in SE, thought this would be consigned to the wrestling forum already.

There is much more integrity in professional wrestling.

Haye vs Chisora coming up. Biggest HW fight in years, if not decades.

Looks like Haye is more fond of Chisora than we thought.

Chisora will walk onto one too many straight rights as hes coming forward ..

I dont see him being knocked out but probably stopped after 6 or 7 rounds due to the mess on his face.

Whats Haye .. 210 lbs ? ... thats seems rather light, i just hope hes not intending on just dancing around Chisora all night ..

Re: SE Boxing Thread (still waiting for PBF v. Pac)

It's for sure not the biggest hw in decades.
It's probably one of the bigger uk fights in the last ten years though.

I'm quite pumped for it to be honest and have absolutely no problem with it like i've read some people have.
To me, the biggest hw fight since Haye-Klitschko and my most anticipated since Klitschko-Lewis.

Re: Khan and wba. I think it's quite reasonable given Lamont admittedly cheated.
It's very hard for sanctioning bodies to overturn a "bad decision" like with Pac so it's not the same thing.

Not that anyone should care about wba/wbc/ibf/wbo anymore. And possibly not the ring title either since it's GBP owned. Right now it's the best thing we got though and only recognize the "real champ" like it should.
Floyd still in jail?

Speaking of Haye-Chisora, i will definitely root for delboy, but he will be outclassed here. Not gonna bother betting though as the price on Haye is too low to warrant me having to cheer for him.

I'm quite sick of boxing after the last year of ridiculous robberies. Didn't think it was possible but i don't give a **** anymore and just tune in to watch the fights. Have no energy to read the news or spam forums anymore. Don't think it's possible to clean it up either as it's most likely the promoters themselves that set this crap up. (like Arum with Pac vs. Bradley)

Btw, why is Ward such a big favorite vs. Dawson? He had an off night vs. Pascal but overall i think it's very competitive.

Re: SE Boxing Thread (still waiting for PBF v. Pac)

They have filmed a face-off between Ward and Dawson, just typing this makes me bored out of my mind. Most of Dawson's record is built up against 40+ years olds. His record isn't as impressive against guys in their prime.

Chisora always looks so chubby, even though he is 14 pounds lighter than the Fury fight he could still lose another 14 I think. The great thing about this fight is that I think Chisora will be able to actually force Haye to fight, unlike Wlad, Valuev and Harrison. If Chisora starts getting beating up don't be surprised if he does something crazy, he has bitten an opponent before.

Even if I agreed with this, it would be more of a comment on the state of heavyweight boxing. This is another bumfight IMO, after Haye's showing against Klitschko I'm never parting with a bean to watch him fight again.

Re: SE Boxing Thread (still waiting for PBF v. Pac)

If anyone wants to take a decent gamble on the Haye fight , Chisora to win by KO in rounds 7-10.If the fight goes to plan Haye wins easy ,but no money to be made there,so..........

If the Haye is not 100% and Chisora has a good night, he has the style to beat Haye.Haye plan will be to KO Chisora quick ,Chisora has a great chin.So if he can ride the storm and Haye gets tired, look for a late win by Chisora

Good luck all
