^ yeah and van hoyt (who had kirkland ahead here) was a judge for that disgrace too. and just recently we saw cloud get one of the most ridiculous gifts against campillo in texas too.

van hoyt had diaz beating malignaggi 118-110.. lol.

Well, now that abortion of a fight is over lets see if Morales can pull a rabbit out of his hat in his advanced age....

it's either gonna be tragic (as it should) because Morales is shot.
Or he'll dig deep, and despite being just a mess of an athlete, uses his superior ring IQ to be competitive and make it real close.

Morales controlling the fight with the left jab. I have him winning the first two rounds so far.

Wow. Morales got really hurt there at the end of the third. If Garcia keeps hitting him like that it's going to get ugly.

Well, the knockdown seals it for Garcia. Close fight until then IMO.

Good effort by Morales. I had it 115-112 Garcia in the end. Pretty sure Morales should retire.

118-109 score card can GTFO. That's just stupid.

oh well, morales exceeded my expectations. remember that he's been done since 7 years and 2 weightclasses.

I'm always a week late on fights these days it seems but finally watched Macklin-Marinez last night, what a great ending, that is what TKO's should look like. Anyone else notice Judah Friedlander in the background (guy from 30 rock).

I guess the Molina DQ was technically correct and It would be kind of OK if all situations like this were treated the same. But if the same thing happened in Kirkland's corner, being in his home state and the guy the house promoter wanted to win, there is no chance he would have been DQd. Just like how Mayweather didn't get DQd against Judah, but if it happened the other way round Judah might have been thrown out.

I struggle to watch Ringside, Adam Smith is such a creepy looking dude.

Yeah, not his biggest fan either but he isn't talking much here, mostly Sugar Ray going through his career.

It amazes me that with all the money Sky have .... they choose Adam Smith and Johnny Nelson to present their boxing ..

Adam Smith is truly horrible and you would think anyone sitting next to him would be made to look great compared to Smith ... but somehow Nelson fails to even do this.

to make matters worse they have shipped Spencer Oliver out of the studio, probably the best boxer commentator they have behind Duke.

can't stand Nelson and his side of the mouth gangster chat. correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't Nelson employ total safety first tactics? never did like him, unexciting ****er.

What Johnny " The Entertainer " Nelson !!

He was always a safety first fighter and was particularly boring at times ..

In fairness to him ... he lost a load of fights early in his career ..12 in all ( and first 3 ) .. but went undefeated for 10 years before retiring ..

Shows he had heart and refused to pack it in after a load of setbacks in his career and eventually made a success of his boxing career.

Obviously ... this is a concern when it comes to his presenting career because the guy does not know went to quit even though hes pants.

I dunno, I don't mind either of them.

Nelson was an odd fighter. I remember watching him fight Carlos DeLeon when I was a kid and give the worst performance I've ever seen by a challenger. He just ran the whole fight and lost on points. Literally nothing happened for the entire fight.

Im pretty sure he drew in that stinker of a fight ..

Im sure ive heard him talk about that fight saying it almost ruined his career and took him years to get over his performance.
