Glad I haven't bought the last two fights I was actually looking forward to seeing... PBF v. Ortiz was lol bad but at least the finish was exciting. This one was just a joke. I don't think I'll ever order a PPV if this **** keeps going. When the Kellerman interviews after the fight with Hop and Dawson are 10x more exciting than the actual fight, you've got a problem

I'm afraid to watch Manny's fight next month the way things are going.

Thought it was impossible for boxing to sink to a new low.

About 100% sure this will be a NC, and 90% sure there will be a rematch.

guess the rematch is closer to 0% actually. Shaw saying they will release the belt if wbc orders it, and schaeffer seems indifferent.

Hopkins vs Bute would be cool. In lolcanada.

I would definitely be interested in Hopkins-Bute.

I did stay up until 5am to watch the fight and all I can say is that at least it was interesting, which was very unlikely going in. Initially I thought bhop was faking, trying to get a no contest or DQ in a fight he didn't really want in the first place and it looked like it was going to be a very tricky night. It seems he really is injured but it didn't look like a heavy fall to me.

The Linares - Demarco fight was great, I feel sorry for Linares, hopefully they have a rematch.

Did anyone watch Cleverly - Bellew? Really good fight, I was kind of surprised at the respect they showed each other afterwards - I thought they had the same hate towards each other as Groves and Degale did.

Speaking of Degale, there was talk of him fighting Mikkel Kessler soon, I think Kessler lays a huge beatdown on him and I would love to see it!

Anyone else watching Donaire tonight? It's on Boxnation for any Brits interested.

only realised that Boxnation was free with my Sky last week (fml i caught the Hopkins nonsense). i'll tune in tonight, but any more shenanigans and i'm done watching live boxing for good.

Another snoozer.

I liked the 24/7 episode, though. Pac/JMM should be good while it lasts (I am guessing 4 rounds).

pac jmm 24/7 good? really? Would have never expected that to be remotely good.

Worth a look?

i made it to rd7. i take it nothing changed and they both continued to feel each other out for another 5 rounds with Donaire an easy winner on the scorecards?

not a great fight tbh and i have no idea why they persist with mis-matching fighters, especially for the main events. ffs the champion was a foot taller and about a stone heavier at fight time.

as for the rest of the card, with a load of 4-6 round fights the less said the better.

wtf was with Tommy Ramone (?) and the other guy with almost 50 fights between them fighting for only 6 rounds?

"It's a difficult fight to make, first of all, they've already said that it's May 5. They already said that it's at the MGM. How dare them? I'm really outraged that they made the announcement now right before Manny's fight, and we'll remember that," said Arum

lol arum.

The Pacquiao team did a similar thing months ago when they basically set Mayweather a deadline to fight. This fight is never going to happen if it continues with one dictating terms to the other.

Leonard Ellerbe is such a slimy little worm. I hate the guy so much.

I forget the name of the damn ESPN show Skip Bayliss trolls on, but I agree w/ his view on this... a quiet agreement behind the scenes.

This appears to be 1 of the 1st dates Mayweather has set, so mebbe it's time
