-Floyd/Scheafer is OK with another agency doing the testing.
-Both sides have agreed to random blood and urine testing.
-The only thing left is determining the cut off date.
Hope this is more true than not. I think the backup talks with Malignaggi are ridiculous. Paulie isn't going to win and Pac should not give him a big payday. Let Paulie lose to Tim Bradley, so that he just becomes a gatekeeper. Arum blows way too much hot air.

I don't see how it's possible for this fight not to happen. Both fighters will make 50m+ and I'm pretty sure both sides like money.

Mayweathers' Record In Terms of Drug Use and Violence

source: http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/284491

"Pacquiao's historic climb in boxing's different divisions has sparked concerns that he's taking prohibited drugs. The Mayweathers have accused Manny of steroid use without evidence and have imprinted to the public the deceptive nature of the Filipino icon.
Ironically, these accusations have its roots from a sporting family strongly associated with shootings, drug use and trafficking, family rivalries, extra-marital affairs and trouble with the law.
In 1993, Floyd Sr. was convicted for drug trafficking and jailed for five years. He was also guilty of smuggling cocaine in boxes of laundry detergent.
In 2006, Roger Mayweather also started a riot when he attacked Zab Judah during a bout with Floyd Jr. He was fined $200,000 and suspended for year. He was also jailed for six months
In 2007, Floyd Mayweather Sr. also found out in that he fathered a 19-year-old light middleweight by name of Jones. The teenager contacted Floyd Sr. because of comments from his friends and relatives that he has resemblance to the Mayweather family. He then requested Mayweather if he would take a DNA test. The DNA test proved positive.
In August 2009, Roger Mayweather was arrested in Las Vegas for attacking one of his former female boxers. Mayweather allegedly hit her several times in the ribs, then tried to choke her, causing her to spit up blood when police arrived. In a interview with HBO, Roger later admitted to choking St. Vil in an effort to restrain her, but denied that he physically struck her.
Police has also search the Rolls Royce car of Floyd Mayweather Jr., who was speculated to be involved in a shooting incident outside the Crystal Palace Skating Center in Las Vegas in August 2009.
The accusation of Pacquiao using performance enhancing drugs should be viewed in light of the family background of the Mayweathers. It is worth noting that the issue of steroid use was first brought up by Senior Mayweather, who has been jailed for drug smuggling and trafficking.
Manny Pacquiao, on the other hand, has instructed Arum to file a slander case on the Mayweather camp for ruining his name and reputation and issuing statements without clear evidence. In spite of this developments, Golden Boy promotions is hopeful that the March 13 mega fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather would push through in Las Vegas."

This is just going to make it all the more sweeter when PBG is laid out in the middle of the ring motionless.

However, pacquiao's domination (speed/strength/punching power) in his last 4 fights while moving up weight hadn't been matched in boxing history, and in modern day sports you're a fool to be ignorant to the high probability he's on peds.

Having said that, I hope he doesn't get caught as that would lessen his mystique and the mystique of the fight.

November 2006: Pac walks into the ring weighing 144 against Morales. He cut 15 pounds of water weight (a HUGE amount) in order to make 129.

November 2009: Pac walks into the ring weighing 144 against Cotto. Did not cut any water weight.

Essentially zero weight gain in the last three years. There were fluctuations but no lasting real weight gain.

SKILLGAME: ZOMG PAC IS ON STEROIDS LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK ROOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDS

It's a sordid state of affairs when we scream OMG STEROIDS anytime a professional athlete does something outstanding in their respective sport.

you could say the opposite is true.

He volunteered to be "supertested" just as how the very best in other respective sports (Kobe, Lebron, Phelps, etc) have to prove that you don't have to take drugs to be the best.

phelps i agree with because he would be tested under the wada/usada rules but i believe the testing for the major sports is done inhouse and is pretty laughable

I think there is a virtually 0% chance either of the fighters are "clean". They're essentially Bondsian in my eyes.

Regardless, conjecture doesn't mean dicks. wah Wah wah... I'm worried about losing because the other guy may be on gear. Everyone needs to man up and stop being a pussssssssssssssssay.

No, I think you misunderstood what I've said. These athletes, along with a few other top, top tier athletes in their respected fields, have volunteered to testing at a level much higher than even the standard olympic caliber level. I can't find the list right now, but basically I think all of the very best athletes in their games were asked to volunteer for International Olympic Committee "Super Testing" and a certain number of them agreed, including the previously mentioned.

Anyways its nice to know that the absolute very best are clean

Have you seen the amount of things that can set off a Olympic level drug test? Indiscriminate supplement use could. However, I would believe each of these guys to resort to significantly more than just stupidity. Another way to view this, if you pass a Olympic level test, but carefully monitor your hormone levels to ensure you're just under the "bad cheater" threshold despite it being above your natural level... Are you a cheater, or are you just practicing good supplementation?

ETA: You probably didn't understand what Bondisan meant. It means "Didn't break any rules, but broke the spirit of them."

I have no clue why this is so hard to find. You would think they would make it more known. This is all I've found so far.

Quote:
Prior to the Beijing Olympics, the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has recently adopted a pilot testing program with the goal of ideally getting rid of use of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in sports. The program has involved twelve American athletes who are preeminent in their respective sport discipline. The volunteer athletes include champion US sprinter Tyson Gay, record-setting swimming superstars Michael Phelps and Dara Torres; and Allyson Felix, two-time 200 meter world champion.

The USADA program has required a two-week period of blood and urine testing to determine a body chemistry baseline. After the baseline has been set, the volunteers have undergone unannounced blood and urine tests. Travis Tygart, chief executive officer of USADA, considered the program as the most advanced and comprehensive in the world.
Quote:
Gay volunteered to the program to help clean the image of his sport. There had been doping scandals that now and then pop in mainstream media that involve high-profile track stars.

“The general climate in sports today creates an unfair environment where athletes, whether setting world records or competing at an older age, are all of a sudden accused of doing it by performance-enhancing drugs,” Tygart said. “We want to do everything possible to take away that stigma for the clean athletes. We want to give athletes a testing platform that we all can have comfort in knowing they’re actually clean. That’s a dream of ours.”

Interesting, Nevada is ordering Pacquiao and Mayweather to take urine tests right away. Ha ha, even Nevada's getting involved to try to push the fight through.
