OK, I'm done ranting about the POS floyd but I just noticed something hilarious. WTF is ortiz doing right at the beginning of the mayweather/merchant interview. Dude just got cheated and he's high-fiving mayweather and his boys. Then he stands there with a childish grin lmao

I'm considering the idea of ortiz just giving up? For a guy that got Ko'd he seemed pretty clear. Like Zab against Khan. Happy to be out of there due to anxiety/stress issues, but also happy he could have an excuse for why he lost. Dunno.

It's bizarre to think anyone would do that, but he did against Maidana.

Well Ortiz arguably should have been DQd for that headbutt and at the very least had a point deducted. It wasn't a normal fake-incidental butt. That was one of the most vicious, blatant, and egregious headbutts I've seen in a long time. **** Ortiz.

the shot from pbf when ortiz wasnt paying attention was mayweathers most exciting fight in awhile not gonna lie. fell asleep during the mosley fight.

I've seen about a dozen boxing PPVs in the last 15ish years. Favorite moment of them all was this Larry Merchant post-fight interview. That was epic!

What round was it? All I know is from youtube and ESPN (that the end was lol). I haven't watched a PPV fight live since Tyson/Lewis iirc.

Sucks to be a boxing fan you have to pay like $250+ (???) a year for best fights (same with UFC I think) - just guessing here btw. I'd watch them if it weren't so high.

yeah ortiz gave up. the dude was getting hit with clean right hand shots. That superman head butt was like mike tyson ear bite. both fighters wanted out the fight. ortiz confirms he has no heart. ortiz gave up on maidana and again floyd. he was just happy to get out the fight and finally have his big payday.
