Most posters seem to be taking a logical look at how Mayweather is handling this; I'm surprised anybody would defend his attempt to override the testing rules already in place. Does he want 16 oz. gloves and a 25 foot ring too?
And the comparison is appropriate.
For such a big fight, with understandable suspicions about pacquiao in relation to peds, I think it's absolutely logical for floyd to want manny to be tested to the fullest. Floyd has to go through these tests too. It's not like the testing will impede pacquiao's performance whatsoever. It's not like the rules/regulations of the fight itself are changing.
And yes, Mayweather was able to do this because if pacquiao declined it'd be "spinned" against pacquiao...However, it should be.
No, everything else was agreed quickly with no problems. If it was some bull**** thing like glove size or ring size that mayweather was trying to force, I'd totally understand. However, he just wants a level playing field, and his request isn't a big deal at all (unless manny is taking peds)
