just dont think haye has the style for this division tbh. hasnt done enough to adapt to fighting bigger men. just unloading a big right from a million miles away is not gonna cut.

haye was terrible in this fight with the flopping around, not throwing anything. Does not deserve a rematch.

I assume that even the British fans must now realize that Haye is a massive bitch. His strategy seemed to be to win via point deduction.

Makes no sense that he moves up in weight and then tries to fight like the bigger guy in every fight (little activity, nothing but bombs). No interest in ever seeing him again unless he moves down.

I kinda agree but at the same time who else is there? Klitschkos need Haye to make them worth watching. Lewis would probably still beat em if he trained but he's long gone. Fact that he would beat em is pretty sad.

the crying about the big toe in post fight interview is just something you don't do. whether it is a real injury or not. you lose, you congratulate your opponent, thank the fans for showing up, maybe apologize to them if you feel you let them down.

if the injury is real, you do it leaving the hospital, the next day, w/e...but never immediately post fight. it just makes ya seem a whiny bitch. that part bothered me more on the night then anything.

what? if i flew there id have loved it!! he knew he was outmatched and just gave it the ali treatment and tried to smack him in one go, a few of my friends went there and loved it... and sorted out the crowd outnumbered 4:1

this was a glorious moment in english sport because most people here kinda wanted him to lose because of how he behaved prefight, but if he won it woulda given us a chance to gloat.... a true emotive freeroll.

Replay is on HBO now. Haye is a total douche, no doubt, but there was something almost charming about his singing as he walked to the ring.

Edit: Holy ****. I feel like David after Dentist watching Wlad's intro. WTF was that?

Further Edit: George Foreman???

As an Englishman, I can say I was rooting for Klitchsko ever since the buildup to the fight. I don't care what the reasoning was, Haye was a classless doucherod and the only thing that disappointed me about the fight was that he managed to reach the final bell.

As a Brit, it looked like he was trying to lose on points. It is easy to criticise when you watch from the outside, but it was obviously frustrating to see him not try and change things somehow when plan A failed. He got outclassed by the better fighter and failed to get any sort of combination off at any point.

Cannot believe the amount of people I spoke to that backed Haye.

Adam Booth cannot blame the ref at all. The 'knockdown' had no influence on the fight.

Wish these happened every weekend.

Haye sure is a little bitch, but I still hope he carries on. If he does though he should earn another shot and take on someone like Solis or Povetkin.

I'd be interested to know of any examples, other than Audley Harrison, of boxers who earned such crazy money (relative to the money) without achieving a whole lot. He's earned a freaking fortune without beating any decent heavyweights.

Oh and don't be surprised if a rematch happens, unless Adamek beats Vitali and Wlad fights him in a revenge mission, there is no one Wlad can fight which would make him any where near the amount he would make against Haye.

There are a few things that could make the rematch interesting:

1. The broken toe, people are saying it's a bitch move to blame the toe, but it's still a broken toe and a possible reason why he couldn't to what he wanted in there.

2. The 50th knockout, Wlad seemed genuinely disappointed that he didn't add to his list of KO victims.

3. Change of scenery, It would be a cool thing for Wlad to do if he fought Haye in England and it would add a little more spice to the event.

Having said all that, injury or no injury, it looks like Wlad would beat Haye and the rematch would be nowhere near as big, but if not a rematch then what?
