The same Andrade that lost last week to Aaron Pryor Jr. while looking terrible doing so. Thats exactly my point Andrade is a scrub ranked number 20 or so when Bute fought him and couldnt get him outta there and should have been ko'd in the 12th. The second fight was a joke tho.

Pascal may have been at SMW a few years ago and Bhop a career MW but those guys have obv grown into full LHW, thats not debatable. But its pretty clear Bute is being protected, which is fine. I wouldn't put him in there against anyone good just yet, but you guys sound like all the mexicans who claim Canelo and Chavez Jr. would all own pac, may and martinez. I dont hate Bute and Canelo, solid solid prospects but nowhere near ready enough to be thrown into legit world champs just yet.

sidenote, for the first bute-andrade fight, Bute was sick like a dog with food poisoning and the fight was supposed to be canceled.

@danrafaelespn Dan Rafael
Richard Schaefer said he needs to look at the contract for "loopholes" to see about the Dawson fight. They dont want that. Boring fight.

I have a feeling we will never see Dawson v Hopkins.
Bernard avoided that fight like the plague, and then jumped right on Pascal when he beat chad.
B-hop sees something in this style-matchup that he does not like.

was unaware of this, if true then obv gets the benefit of the doubt and deserves credit for still winning...kinda. Andrade is still awful tho.

And ya Hop vs. Dawson would be a borefest.....sadly theyre both 1-2 in the division so its probably gon happen

I'm so glad George Groves won, it was a very close fight but I had Groves up 7 rounds to 5.

Adam Booth showing what he thinks of Frank Warren and/or Jim McDonnell:

Good win for Hopkins but I can't help but feel Pascal was the perfect opponent for him. It would be very interesting to see B-Hop in against a guy that doesn't have the stamina of an asthmatic old woman.

Grunching but Degale def caused more damage but there was so many super close rounds that it was tough to call. I would have to watch it again and score each round.

I just got around to downloading the MP-SM fight and omg how it must have sucked to have paid for ring side seats. I know MP is a nice guy but fans paid good money to see him physically hurt SM not to watch him give 50% and go the distance. That was an easy $15m for SM, eh?

Yes, I agree. Degale lost a ton of early rounds though when Groves was out-boxing him - even if he was causing little damage.

The Degale-Groves fight was extremely close and scoring it live round by round i had it a draw. Will watch it again and see if anything changes and hopefully wont be results oriented. Both looked good tho and made it an exciting war, will def be looking forward to their next encounters.

Also Bute is fighting Mendy?? No way! I remember watching the Bika/Mendy fight on the Diaz-Marquez undercard but didnt think it was for a shot at Bute. Bute fought Magee(who is terrible obv) and thought he'd be stepping up in competition, I've only seen Mendy for half a round where he was brutally laid out on the canvas however "winning" the fight. Oh well.

Upcoming next few weeks are Chavez winning a meaningless world strap vs. Zbik and also the Froch-Johnson Super Six semi final. Not great, but enough to get my boxing fix.

no idea Kev.

John Breen is fos, peddling the "he has been tired since the 4th round" line about the guy that has won nearly every round V his fighter.

John Breen used to be a bouncer at an Armagh nightclub here. He was a bit of a tool at the door.
