Whatever you use will show up after the fight. So, stick with the standard drug testing policy (tested after the fight).

My opinion is that Team Pacquiao should demand that Mayweather pay a large fine if Pac takes a pre-fight test and comes up clean. This is a real bull**** move by Mayweather's team.
Do you actually have knowledge of the effectiveness of different types of testing and the techniques to avoid detection, or are you just talking out of your ass again?

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/boxin...pacquiao_N.htm

Reached late Tuesday night, Bob Arum of Top Rank, which promotes the Filipino, took it a step further.

"The plug is pulled. The fight is off as far as we're concerned," he said, adding that he expects Pacquiao to fight on that date but is seeking a new opponent.

"All they're doing is harassing Pacquiao. I'm not going to allow it to happen," Arum said. "We're willing to do urine analysis at random even though we don't have to do it under Nevada rules. … I know deep down Mayweather doesn't want the fight. He can take a walk."

Where did I say I did have that knowledge?

Yes, blood tests are considered more effective. They are also way more expensive. Is the additional effectiveness enough to offset the cost? What drugs can be seen in a urine test, but not a blood test?

And get off my ****ing nuts.

This is all bull****. There's too much money involved for this not to happen.

And if it actually doesn't happen, it'll just show sports fans how much of a joke boxing has become.

Manny agreed to have the blood test before the press conference in Jan. or after the fight so I don't see that the problem is. If the fight gets called off because of this that's just sad.

I thought "Money" Mayweather only cared about money. Now he's going to call off the fight and $50 million because Pacquaio won't take the blood test when Mayweather wants?

I think they will reach some deal with the blood testing (probably a week before + an hour or so after the fight) and the fight will be back on.

Arum saying the fight is off is probably just a negotiation tactic.

Wait.. you think anyone involved in a $100MM+ fight is worried about the lab expenses for blood tests?

HAHAHAHHAA

You didn't answer my question.

The answer to the question is that I don't know. Then again, I don't get off on the idea of being an internet message board authority. You're the one making these posts:

You obviously have no idea what techniques can be used to avoid detection based on when and how they are being tested, yet you are so sure that it's nothing but posturing.

Of course I don't know. Never said I did.

I can't imagine this is a way to back out of a fight this big. No point in generating hype as there's already enough of it as it is.

Perhaps it's a leverage tactic. If Pac doesn't want to do it, accusations of using PEDs fly around. If he does, then Mayweather shows that he's able to bully Pacman around.

Arum could also be using the whole "fight won't happen" claim as another negotiation tactic. I cannot imagine a fight this lucrative not happening.

wtf, are you really going to claim that the cost of the blood test is the reason that there shouldn't be one?

How much could it ****ing cost? They're going to make like $30 million dollars each.

Where did I say that? I just stated a fact and asked a question.

What can I say that won't make people become little bitches here? Seriously, am I that worthy of this excessive scrutiny?

This is just posturing. Its not a big deal. Alot of hot air. The fight will go off as planned. Just psychological warfare, common in the fight game.

I really don't think anyone could have seriously considered you were asking that question legitimately. If you honestly thought that cost could have been an issue then there's nothing else to say besides lol.

If Mayweather refuses to fight because Manny doesn't agree to his 1243249 extra drug tests that's going to go down as one of the biggest bitch moves in sports history. Manny's already agreed to random urine samples at any time pre or post fight, and blood at the kick off and after the fight. All of that is far above NSAC requirements.

Basically, Floyd is a bitch.
