Morales needed that last rd to win. the 2 116-112's were well off. Morales is such a warrior. I didn't think he had a chance in this fight.

I didn't think it was a bad decision. I thought Morales won 5 rounds clearly, Maidana won 5 clearly, and two were close, but I thought Maidana edged out both of them. I think part of the reason fans disagree with the judging here was because the crowd was oohing and aahhing every time Morales missed a jab, but was totally silent when Maidana was landing power shots.

Very obnoxious crowd btw... when they were doing the tribute to Gil Clancy all these clowns were yelling Viva Mehico and other ****. This was one of the better cards I've seen live, but all the jingoistic fools in the audience took away from some of the fun.

WTF wanting to see Morales fight again is madness, a fighter with a decent game plan will do him serious damage, Maidana had no idea how to use his advantages of youth and strength by just putting his head down and swinging he is always going to make Morales look somewhat decent.

There is zip zilch nada upside to Morales fighting again. the guy is already a legend and has proven he is Mas Macho time and time again. To see him take beatings like that over and over would be a tragedy.

I also thought Morales won, it was a shame he had nothing left at for the last couple of rounds though. I agree that it would be horrible to see Amir Khan fight Morales, Khan already holding a win over Barrera makes me sick enough.

Seeing an over-hyped prospect/contender like Kirkland getting splattered is one of my favourite moments in sports. Lol at the height difference in that fight.

Khan v mc closkey on Saturday night was supposed to be sky-ppv, then changed to skysports3 and now finally not being aired by sky at all.

Sky took if off ppv because the undercard wasn't strong enough to justify ppv, then was supposed to be ss3 but that is a bust now.

Meh, if he was a big enough draw then the undercard wouldn't matter that much imo. It was Khan that pulled the plug on it being shown on SkySports, he wanted the money from PPV sales.

Sky, quite rightfully, got a load of **** for having just one live undercard fight for the Haye-Harrison PPV. I think that is why they pulled it. At least Haye and Harrison were both household names though. Amir Khan versus a 7/1 underdog that no one has ever heard of shouldn't be on PPV anyway. Although they managed to get away with it when Khan fought Prescott, who was also around 7/1 and no one had heard of.

Hopefully Khan will get pancaked in a round again. Why are Britain's most successful Olympians in recent years so unlikeable? James Degale for instance, the guy trys so hard to talk like Ali or Hamed but it just comes off as embarrassing.
