That was ****in awesome. What a left hook. Donaire is a better boxer than the Pacman.

Floyd-like technique with Pacquiao power.

I thought Montiel was having a seizure on the canvas. Can't believe he got up.

Donaire is something special.

I thought the Ref really made a mistake letting Montiel continue. He didn't respond to his command to come foward. Still, that was pretty special.

Ko of the year.

I feel bad for Montiel going out like that but Donaire is a beast.

I would have thought the ref would have stopped it after Montiel stumbled around.

And what was going on in Karras' corner were tehy looking for a way out of the fight after the third round because they thought the cuts were from headbutts (The one on the left was!) it seemed like thier attitude changed when they found out Bayless ruled otherwise.

And that montage they showed before the Donaire fight is shown at all top rank fights. It is even better to watch live, like at Cowboys stadium with 40k people. The crowd pops give goosebumps.

In the Rios-Acosta fight I hated to see either guy lose. In the DeMarco-Sanchez undercard I hated to see either guy win. DeMarco would be well advised to stay in the minor leagues of whatever ABC belt he now inherits or is number one contender for. If Sanchez can't learn to punch with power he should just get out of boxing before he fights someone who can really hurt him.

Rios was a beast last night and relentlessly stayed after a very sharp punching smart boxing Acosta until he wore him down with body shots and finally got to him. The two battled throughout every round with an intensity DeMarco and Sanchez could only muster for 10 seconds at rounds' end. Acosta definitely deserves some kind of future in boxing but it looks like the future of boxing in the lightweight division may very well belong to Rios. As his promoter Bob Arum said after the fight, Rios has now earned a matchup with a big name in the division.

Wow. No UK TV channel has picked up the Matthew Hatton fight tonight (Sky showing it on delay tomorrow). Very surprised at that, although he is going to get embarrassed against Saul Alvarez. Lucky the fight is even going ahead after Alvarez failed to make the weight but they agreed to keep it on. Alvarez was docked 20% of his purse.

Yeah earlier in the week Haye said the fight was 90% complete, I guess the 10% left was cancelling the Chisora fight again which he did today.

Zab Judah fight about to start.

really? I didnt know, everyone down here thinks Alvarez is overrated, thought it was somewhat close between them two. Dont know much about Hatton. Guess I should follow mid cards more often

odds to win - Alvarez 1.09 - Hatton 10.

Matthew is very lucky Ricky is his brother to help him get such opportunities as tonight, very limited fighter imo.
