Re: SE Boxing Thread (still waiting for PBF v. Pac)

yeah he should not have bothered trying to clinch and just let Bradley headbutt/elbow/shoulder **** right out of him.

can't disagree that he showed he had a vagina by forcing the ending.

bvllshit.. alexander did not want to fight anymore. when the doctor asked him to open his eyes, he could have but chose not to.

khan NEVER beats bradley.. never ever unless Khan's family are the judges and they fight in Khan's living room.

Re: SE Boxing Thread (still waiting for PBF v. Pac)

I will bet anyone itt any amount of $ on bradley to beat the crap out of khan.

bradley has more skill in his toes than khan has in his whole body.

bradley is the MUCH better fighter.

Re: SE Boxing Thread (still waiting for PBF v. Pac)

That was a hideous fight by two very unimpressive boxers that each demonstrated about the same level of power as Paulie Malignaggi.

I'd rate the 140 fighters as follows.

#1 Pacquaio (he could fight here if he wanted and really wouldn't have to cut weight besides skipping breakfast and maybe lunch before the weigh in)
#2 Khan
#3 Maidana
#4 Ortiz
#5 JMM
#6 Bradley
#7 Alexander

I think Ortiz destroys either Bradley or Alexander. Sooner or later JMM has to get old but the 2010 version could still wipe the floor with either Bradley or Alexander. I don't think either of these guys will let themselves be found in the same state as Maidana.

Honestly, Paulie Malignaggi may deserve to be higher ranked than either of these bums.

I will bet anyone itt any amount of $ that Bradley wipes the floor with Maidana, Khan, Ortiz etc. Bradley wins pretty comfortable decisions vs each fighter, if they are lucky. 1st time I ever saw Maidana fight and he got beat by Khan who did not impress me at all.

Just watched the Maidana vs Ortiz fight on youtube. Bradley wont be standing there getting clocked like they both were. The goal of boxing is to hit and not get hit. Bradley does this VERY WELL.

Bradley has more skills in his toes than Maidana, Ortiz and Khan will ever have in their whole bodies if they died and came back 3 times.

I am taking bets on Bradley vs any junior welterweight in the world not named pacquaio.

Bradley knows how to fight, he is very skilled. Some itt may not like him because he does not run in there haphazardly getting clocked.

Bradley is the best at his weight class BY FAR and one of the pound for pound in the world.

imo, if you think bradley was unimpressive, i would say you REALLY are not a connoisseur of the sport.

I think Bradley matches up so poorly with Maidana and is smart enough to realize it that there's literally zero chance he ever fights him.

It's funny you say this right after admitting you've only seen one Maidana fight.

i said the 1st time i saw maidana fight was vs khan. since, i have seen his fights on you tube. not impressed. i prefer the most skilled guys who hit and not get hit instead of the guys who take 3 punches to land 1.

i used to watch as many fights as i could but in recent years have become disillusioned by what they are passing off as the top of the sport. i guess like most things the quality is not as good as before.

i have watched khan, maidiana, bradley, ortiz, alexander etc fight and am convinced without a doubt that barring a lucky punch bradley would not lose to any of them.

Ya you realize that initiating those clinches when Bradley was coming in is exactly what caused most of the butts. He should have tried stepping to the side and throwing a check hook or stepping back and throwing an uppercut. He did exactly the worst possible thing he could against a guy who leads with his head.

pacman rapes bradley
khan is a tossup
maidana isn't skilled enough
ortiz doesn't have the heart and would crumble under headbutts, ffs he couldn't even beat lamont peterson who has about as much power as bradley and bradley handled him pretty easy
jmm beats bradley after a rough start

lol at paulie malignaggi deserving to be ranked higher. Look the fight sucked, but you are going way way way overboard here with a lot of this hating.

Re: SE Boxing Thread (still waiting for PBF v. Pac)

I mean seriously, if Maidana didn't have the power to take out khan who has no chin at all, how the **** is he going to knock out bradley. Bradley is a bit chinny, but nowhere near khans level, and has more heart than anyone in the division. So basically that leaves Maidana by decision, if u think he can pull that off then i donno why im arguing with u cus you don't know **** about boxing...

Morales v JMM is close to being finalised. I was a fan of Morales back in his brawling days with Barrera and Pacman. Im a sucker, so will definitley watch this if it gets the green light.

Any of you lot in the same boat?

Khan/Bradley fight (if it happens) has a good chance of being staged in the UK.

Surely it wouldn't be a PPV for you guys over there?

Id say we would get it on SkySports so no PPV fee.

Jesus that is ridiculous. Wouldn't pay it either. The only fights that are PPV over here atm involve Khan or Haye, we even get Pacman on Sky Sports not PPV.

we get way too much stuff going on ppv its pretty ridiculous. Neither HBO or Showtime would pick this up, none of our normal cable channels could afford JMM's purse, so it would have to be an independent ppv.

of course Alexander could have tried to box a bit better when Bradley was charging in, but he didn't. he had to clinch to avoid being smashed by Bradley's shoulder/torso/head each time he attacked.

Bradley is a clumsy fighter and not anywhere near top-class imo.

Alexander has no balls and i will never willingly watch him fight again.

Morales vs Maidana: I just hope Morales doesn't suffer permanent damage from this. I think he'll be KTFO into retirement again.

This weekend's Donaire vs Montiel fight should be a great one. Two great fighters, but I gotta go with Donaire with his height, speed and power. The supporting Jones vs Soto-Karass 2 fight should be solid. Their 1st fight was the best fight on the Pac vs Margarito card.

Wow, Morales must really need the money. I feel sad that Maidana can't get a better fight than this but the rest of his division are probably wetting themselves whenever Maidana's promoter calls up trying to arrange a fight.
