There could have been one or 2 10-8 rounds for maidana in the late rounds.

Both had a 10-8 round and then Maidana with a pt deduction

There needs to be a re-match but it's hard to imagine Khan ever allowing himself to be found in the same room as Maidana again. I thought Khan won a close one and am amazed he survived the 10th round. There was over 2 minutes left in the round when he first got staggered I think.

I think this fight just confirms that Khan's chin is suspect.

maidana could fight ufc imo, he's a brawler

My uncle called me yesterday asking me where I was watching UFC (family has lots of fight fans). I said nowhere, there's boxing. haha

Having had time to think about last night's fights. The showtime bantamweight tourney lived up to what I expected. Great job for showtime and the fighters. The fighters make for pretty good match ups. I was glad that Agbeko was able to adjust in the rematch to out box perez. Perez/Darchinyan and Agbeko/Mares should be really good, really looking forward to that. Super six should have been elimination from the get go too (may a super 8). Really disliked Khan before last night, but showed he has a lot a heart and he needs respect for that. I liked Maidana before last night and I like him even more after the fight.

I don't follow boxing but that was a great evenings entertainment, degale went to the champs hometown and outclassed him(still a **** tho), tony bellow was out cold in the 2nd round & hit the floor so hard it woke him back up! Maidana v khan was awesome, would love to see a rematch but I doubt khan would want to get in a ring with maidana again!

I was very tilted by the horn-blowing throughout the Khan/Maidana fight. It reminded me of a World Cup game, only louder and more irritating. Boxing venues are too small for this; I want to hear the corner in between rounds- not some idiot blowing on a horn.

I was amazed that the Mandalay staff allowed it, I was sure someone would put a stop to it at some point. I really hope HBO or Mandalay confiscates these things in the future.
