I have a feeling Mares beats Darchinyan. I will just watch and enjoy Agbeko vs Perez.

Wlad has the better skills, Vitali is better to watch.

They are awful for the division because they are brothers.

How is having two belt holders that will never fight each other a good thing for the division?

I understand the HW division is pathetic right now but the garbage matchups we're treated to are due in no small part to this monopoly.

So rather than have two guys who are better than the rest but won't fight each other, you'd rather see a totally mediocre division when we have 4 diff world champs with an average term of about 18 months each? Look at the ratings for the last 5-6 years and imagine what a farce it would have been but for them. There is not one other other stand-out guy at all (before Haye, who brings something different).

Still deciding whether to pay the £15 for the Khan fight, will probably end up doing it although I'm going to miss all the one-sided psuedo-fights that are on at the moment.

What's with all the hate for Khan?

Probably because he got hyped up so much after his Silver Medal at the Olympics. Not his fault I know but thats how it goes.

was gonna buy the card but UFC is on, so Khan on stream for me.

not worth buying after Sky showed us Pacman for nothing a couple weeks ago.

Well apart from that one hideous moment vs Prescott he seems to have lived up to the hype so far. And he seems to be up for stepping up for competetive fights rather than sitting back on his belt and taking on no-hopers for the easy pay-day. which is a refreshing change in the boxing world these days.

Has De Gale fight started already? That was the only fight other than Khan I was interested in. On one hand I'd like to see DeGale go onto become a World Champ for Britain, but I can't stand his smug face either and would like to see it destroyed in front of a bunch of maniacal scousers tonight.

No was talking about the Cleverly fight being awful, they showed De Gale warming up during rounds.

Starting the 8th round in this fight.

Cleverly might be in a bit of trouble.

Cleverly gets the decision but wasnt that impressive.

Tbf his original opponent pulled out so was probably never going to impress in this with such little time to prepare for the new guy.

Worst seen Cleverly, but he needed a real tough fight, bit to close for comfort imo!

How has he lived up to the hype so far, as of right now, he hasn't fought, let alone beaten another elite fighter. Just because now he is finally ready to start stepping up to big fights doesn't mean he's lived up the hype, he has to win them to do that.

Mares UD
Perez MD
Ortiz TKO8
Khan UD 12

9th round stoppage for De Gale.

What a joke of a stoppage as well, **** me ref this is boxing and he is the champion.

Edit - Seeing replays I can see why he stopped it, I take back what I said.
