I mean, "unfair" is in the eye of the beholder. And if both parties sign on the dotted line, then they agreed to the conditions so by definition it's "fair".
But realistically, it's not an even matchup. Pacquiao fights at 147 these days, but has weighed in at 144ish for most of his fights over the last few years. Whether he was fighting at 135, 140, 147 or 150, he walks into the ring at about 144. He basically can't gain anymore weight is my assumption. Williams cutting down to 147 makes him a huge, massive 147 pounder, and he would likely be even heavier than Margarito even if he did take the fight at 147. When you add his extreme height and length advantage, it's just too much.
