I'd imagine Canelo fights GGG in May at a weight higher than 160lbs. I feel like we all know what'll likely happen in that one at this point, but GGG deserves as many shots as he wants given the first two (and Canelo should take the money either way).

I'm in the minority but I've got no desire to see Canelo/GGG III. GGG is old and we all know who won the 1st fight.

Honestly, I have little desire to watch Canelo fight nearly anyone. I perpetuate it as much as anyone, but you can't trust the scorecards when he fights, and there aren't a ton of challenging fights for him unless he wants to stay at LHW. The sooner Oscar decides to retire the better.

Pac got a major win with Thurman in addition to a roller coaster decade.

Canelo has the 175 title in addition to 3 others.

Lomachengco had a great decade.

Mayweather only fought half the decade but beat a very young Canelo, Cotto, and a dud with Pacquiao.

Tyson Fury did great while Joshua fell.

Crawford and Spence have risen to the top.

We now have enough data to determine who should be considered the best of the decade.

Who is the Fighter of the Decade?

96-94x2 and 95-95 at time of stoppage in favor of Canelo.

Fighter of the Decade seems like a "Who's story is impossible to remove from the fabric of boxing" kind of award rather than a "compare common opponents or records" kind of award.

That said, Fury would win for almost all the wrong reasons, and might have had a case if the judges don't **** up Fury/Wilder. Crawford or Spence would win if the decade was 1-3 years longer since they're on track for some bigger fights. Canelo has a case but his story has a ton of "yeah but..."s to it. Floyd could get the nod based on winning the biggest fight of all time, but for his 2015-2019 run, Loma is probably the winner.

Probably Loma in my eyes. Floyd or Usyk are also legitimate choices.

Canelo will probably win though bc popularity and people judging by names/records not reality. He clearly beat Kovalev, Cotto and Jacobs, though the first two were well post-prime. He basically drew vs Lara, clearly lost one vs GGG and at best drew a second vs a well post-prime GGG. Got blown out by Floyd.

Manny really only lost twice, the brutal KO to Marquez (where he was winning at the time) and the Floyd fight. I think if he had beaten Floyd or even drew him, boring fight or not he would've been clearly fighter of the decade. He's fought every year and had some impressive wins vs top caliber opponents.

I'm sure that BJS's travelling support will mix well with whoever the **** turns up to watch two YouTubers boxing this weekend and foresee absolutely no issues at all.

Incredible fight I think it’s my FOTY but there are a lot to choose from and no obvious front runner. Can’t believe the bombs these two took since each is a huge puncher. Inoue proved he has a chin and donaire is a legend. I’m worried we are gonna see top rank put Inoue in with garbage fights “building him up” now tho...

Obv donaire should have been counted out in round 11 tho. Shameful reffing really he didn’t beat the count and got like four extra seconds in the first place lol

Donaire apparently broke Inoue's face in the 2nd. Great heart from him and obviously Inoue is a monster.

Ortiz up 5-0. Through 4, he clearly used up less energy than the first fight. He's feinting so well, Wilder can't get anything off. We'll see how the rest of this goes, Wilder can KO at any moment obviously, but Ortiz is fighting a nearly perfect fight so far.

Also have him up by a large margin, but it wont matter. If they robbed Fury, there's no way Ortiz have a shot.

Imagine if Wilder had ordinary KO power. He'd be a top50 journeyman.

Yeah, absolutely no fight IQ or technique. Just insane (possibly one of the best of all time) power.

How does a man who is constantly behind and like 15-40lbs lighter than his opponents, with little technique, so ****ing consistently strong? Ortiz has to be devastated. And he has to listen to whatever sermon Wilder is giving him after the loss, gosh.

Why do they keep calling this guy the baddest man on the planet? He has a powerful right hand. Congrats. That doesn't make you the baddest man on the planet. Maybe the most boring heavyweight boxer until the last 10 seconds of the fight though.

It's the equalizer. He hasn't lost (though in my book he lost to Fury).

Watch Wlad vs Fury, that's nothing anyone should brag about, it was like 90 partial punches vs 75 partial punches landed.

HW is all about the KOs, at least a majority of the time. These guys have 60-90% KO rates, so Wilder is the ultimate weapon.

He also threw it straight tonight. He often throws a roundhouse/missile/windmill type, but I didn't see that tonight, which is great. If he throws a straight right vs Fury he wins, hands down.

The KO was certainly a thing of beauty. I don't even understand how he can KO someone like that. What I wouldn't give to see that kind of power wearing 4oz gloves.

Sure you can outpoint him but can you outpoint him for 12 rounds without getting ktfo?
