Really enjoying this fight, but Bud and Spence beat Thurman to the punch and exploit all of these openings.

Also, I'm going to be pissing blood tomorrow from just watching these body shots.

Thurman has to be careful.

Thurman's first fight in 2 years granted, but he'd be a dog even at his best vs TC or Spence.

Lopez is a pretty good size, and quite tough, he's fought some big punchers and at 154.

Lopez shaking his head "no" and doing the "come on" motion with his glove. Dude's got balls bigger than my head.

LOL Majority Decision.

Majority decision what the hell? Awful draw card on that one. How do you even score a draw with a knockdown....

Wait, 113-113, does that mean that judge scored the round where Thurman was out on his feet 10-8 as well as the KD round?

114-114 is a 6-6 draw, so with the Thurman KD it's 114-113.

I think that's the most likely explanation, but Thurman hit him plenty in that round even, 10-8 is ridiculous.

I don't know anything about Innoue, but Munguia is definitely there to be hit. I'd imagine he's too powerful and active for most guys I haven't heard of at this level, but maybe not an automatic cakewalk. Hope not.

If you were pissing blood from the last main event, this one should have you gushing it, some brutal body shots happening here.

Ref is a little biased towards the A-side, ignoring some back of the head and below the belt from him, but warning Inoue several times.

Mungia is fun as hell but Jesus Christ this poor kid is gonna be slurring his words by the time he is 30 he just goes ham every fight I’m afraid for him when he inevitably steps up in weight and/or competition

You're right, he just takes so many clean shots to the head every fight. He's also 10-30lbs heavier than most of his opponents right now.

These commentators are as bad as the poor judges of many fights.

The judges of this fight actually got it right, Mungia won 11 or 12 rounds here by objective scoring lol. Just bc it was a good fight doesn't mean the scores should be close. That's not how it works!

Was pretty disappointed by the FOX broadcasters. Chris Myers shouldn't be near a boxing ring.

Surprised King Tug doesn't get any love. The way he throws punches and carries himself in the ring reminds me of GGG even if the skill level isn't quite as high. Not sure he's ready for Gary Russell Jr. just yet.

Yep, Baranchyk was supposed to fight Taylor in May. Since then the fight was postponed all the time. And now here we are..../

Heh wbss just announced Taylor Baranchyk May 16th in Glasgow like thirty minutes ago on twitter so... Who knows. Wouldn’t surprise me if they do fight and Baranchyk was playing hardball trying to get paid. Amateur hour from the Sauerland bros either way

Also GGG apparently offered 45 mil from DAZN with plan to have a smaller fight then the third Canelo fight in September according to Coppinger. Lesser money for a two fight PBC deal including a Charlo PPV as second fight

Edit- “lesser fight” on DAZN would be against Andrade possibly according to copp which would be pretty sick if that is the case

Andrade appears to be the kind of guy who fights to the level of his opponents. I think GGG brings out the best Andrade there is.

Andrade still loses by KO though.

Garcia/Cheeseman was a good, though one-sided battle. Cheeseman's corner should have stopped it. Even the judge Eddie bribed couldn't do any better than 115-114 for Garcia.

Wow brutal round one in Commey Chaniev. Both guys landed some big shots.Commey almost knocked him out but I suspect he will finish the job in round two

And Commey finishes it round two. Guy has some big power. I don’t think I ever actually saw his close loss to Easter jr I know a lot of people thought he won that and his other close loss to Dennis shakivov

With this win he is fighting Lomachenko next. I like that fight some cuz Commey has power so at least some drama

Yea he seems to have the type of tools that could make things exciting/give Loma a run for his money. Power and aggressiveness are huge. You'd imagine Loma will counter punch him to death, but Commey looked quite explosive there.

I think Valdez will break this guy down. It looks more like a sparring session, which makes sense vs an undefeated fighter with only a ~25% KO rate.
