Good amount of boxing tonight Andrade Akavov on DAZN (you might remember Akavov fighting Billie joe Saunders to a very close decision loss-he arguably won but BJS looked like **** that fight and admitted as much afterwards) plus Chris Algieri returns v some scrub

Also Bryant Jennings v Oscar Rivas on ESPN+ is a good fight tonight. I don’t know anything about Rivas other than that some people are high on him as a prospect. Jennings is a tough out for everyone in the heavyweight division and has only lost to the best of the best I think he is a 2-1 favorite here so they are really letting Rivas sink or swim here im very intrigued to see what he has. Shakur Stevenson on undercard too

Linares-Pablo Cesar cano walking to ring

Linares is always pure bliss to watch

Think Jennings-Rivas is next on ESPN card too. Stevenson had a round four KO. Time for him to step up in competition soon. Algieri looked pretty bad today on his return but won a UD

Jennings not doing much of anything through three probably down 3-0 to Rivas who looks solid albeit unspectacular

Jennings coming on now in 8th...not sure how judges have it I could see a wide range but looking good for Jennings atm

Very boring through six. Rivas prob up 4-2 but not a lot in the fight. Andrade walking out for the main on DAZN . He needs to knock this guy out he cannot have another boring one sided decision for the upteenthm time no one cares about him right now even tho I think he’s pretty good

Wow Rivas with a 12 round KO out of nowhere. No idea who the judges had winning it was close he might have needed that . Huge win although I don’t see him doing a lot v the elite

Well, I guess that puts Rivas in line for a Joshua payday from Hearn, right? Lol.

Speaking of HWs, Whyte and others keep saying that Wlad is going to come back. He's pretty old, but maybe the blockbuster money is too much to ignore? He can probably make in one fight vs Joshua what he used to make in 3-4 years.

Not sure what to make of the Andrade fight. Akavov seems to be fighting not to lose, and trying to just be awkward and always be moving. Andrade isn't an especially powerful fighter, so this is kind of a boring affair, but not Andrade's fault. Andrade looks to be starting to break him down every so often, if he can keep up this pace I doubt Akavov hangs in for 12.

That wide left that Andrade throws is lazy 80% of the time, what a weird punch. He has really nice timing and isn't as defensive/on his bike as much as Lara. Maybe better speed than Lara, his punches aren't as straight or simple though.

Only been watching on side tv while Rivas was on main but sure looks to be same **** as usual for Andrade. Dominating an overmatched guy in a relatively dull affair. Pretty over him until he gets in with one of the elites. I don’t really think the way his career has gone is his fault entirely but at some point we (or me anyway) want to see some KOs man

RE Klitschko I think it makes all the sense in the world to do the tune up then Fury then Joshua fights. I actually would be very interested in seeing him fight fury and it’s a fight he is almost certainly not getting hurt in so win or lose if they say hey fight AJ next for a ****load of money I don’t see how he turns those down that’s a ton of money for him in those two fights and given how heavyweights age I definitely think he’s live. I personally would favor him over wilder I think but that’s a pretty dangerous fight given he could get hurt bad. I think more often than not he gives wilder nightmares

He's not a big KO fighter unfortunately. He also seems to fight down to his competition a bit, not as bad as Billy Joe, but similar stuff.

It's too bad he wasn't properly promoted, he would've destroyed Lemieux by now and been well on his way to a Canelo fight. I think that's Hearn's plan long term anyways, get Andrade 3 fights a year and be ready for Canelo or Jacobs.

One of the dumbest stoppages I’ve ever seen . It really doesn’t matter but what is the ref doing lol. Just stops the fight with 25 seconds left for no reason let the dude finish the fight man

Andrade has to fight GGG Canelo Jacobs BJS or Derevychenko next or I don’t care . Would be fine with Derev fight I kind of like that given Canelo Jacobs fighting each other He’s calling out GGG in postfight let’s see that fight. Could be a starmaking performance for Andrade if he can beat GGG or let GGG collect another pelt and prove he’s still a top 5 p4p who should arguably be undefeated. GGG Andrade makes tons of sense given he already fought Jacobs and Canelo

Linares looked scared and completely outclassed from the first punch on. Looked an amateur fighting a pro.

Having trouble wrapping my head Badou Jack only being -180 v Marcus Browne tonight. Browne a bit of a wildcard I guess and in his prime in biggest fignt of his career but Badou Jack has just been in with way better competition and I can’t get that Browne gift decision v the polish guy a few years ago out of my head. Don’t really see anything from Browne that leads me to think he won’t get beat here but I’m intrigued. Browne winning and becoming a name would probably be best for the sport

Like most people I think pacquiao will cruise to a decision win v Broner but now that the day is here I’m starting to get somewhat worried just because this sport is cruel and unfair and Broner of all people ending pacquiaos career would just be heartbreaking and ridiculous so maybe it should be expected lol

Jack got one of the worst cuts I’ve ever seen that was disgusting he was just bleeding everywhere for the last five or six rounds

The close up at the end of the fignt when it opens up will be in my nightmares

Credit to Browne good performance although the second half of the fight was a little tainted since jack could probably barely see but he dominated first half

Wow not one comment for a pacquiao ppv lol

Fight went exactly as everyone predicted really. Pacquiao past his prime but still much better than Broner who had some nice counters but never threw enough. 4 rounds for Broner is too much IMO

Broner just an unbelievable clown

Manny seems fine, but it's like the usual fight where his opponent poses no threat as long as Manny just outlands him 2 or 3 to 1 in punches, so he'll cakewalk instead of risking another Marquez incident.

As a pacquiao bettor I was fine with that lol but yeah as a fan and Broner hater I wanted to see him get knocked out. Kids got a chin tho that one left hand was very flush but manny was a bit off balance I guess
