Yea I don't see how the bookies can fade Russian riggage so hard. Gonna need multiple knockdowns, KO or riggage at this point.

Gassiev getting hurt. You can see that head snapping back and him moving back quite a bit.

I'm really amazed by Usyk. He's like a cruiserweight Lomachenko.

Yea same style as Loma, just at a much heavier weight.

Usyk really laying it on now, so much more is getting through. Gassiev seems to have been confused and lost energy after like round 5, just eating more and more since then without returning.

Usyk gassing. Only gotta go one last round to win it.

Still got a shutout so far

I don't think any Russian riggage can give Gassiev this fight

I had it 117-110, though after reading the score in this thread, on BLH, in BLH chat and elseware, I must've snuck bias in there on round 3 at least.

neither of these should move up to HW.

Agreed. They're not big enough to compete with AJ and Wilder. If they can make CW with 1.8 pounds to spare, then they should stay there.

Was pretty shocked by Usyk. I knew he had endurance but I figured he would gas out and Gassiev would end up finishing him then. But even when Gassiev did hit him, Usyk showed a great chin. Kind of incredible how one-dimensional he made Gassiev look. I mean Breidis looked better against Usyk and he couldn't knock down some tub of lard in the undercard tonight.

Also impressed at lack of Russian riggage. Figured the scorecards would be closer though likely to give Usyk the nod.

Munguia is gigantic for 154. He and Hurd would be a fantastic fight.

Hopefully he blows himself out.

Someone shoot whoever is squealing at ringside.

Munguia was gassing before that knockdown.

Seems to be dominating though.

Munguia 117-110

Props to Smith for going the distance. He also showed a lot of flaws in Munguia.

Munguia/Hurd is fight of the year material.

Did Mungia really win 11 rounds? I saw him win 8 or 9.

11 is ridiculous

A lot of those punches Munguia was throwing in the late rounds were missing by a lot. He telegraphs a lot of his punches. Charlo definitely makes a mess of him. Lara probably beats him as well.

12-0 Usyk, one of the best performances of the decade and maybe even further than that. To do what he did to a guy like Gassiev in Russia without a fixed trainer in his camp...ooft. He has fighter of the year locked up and should be #3 at the minimum on everyone's P4P list. He has the best resume in Boxing tbh. Insane performance.

I think the top of the p4p list is less clear than it was earlier in the year. To me, it was clear that Lomachenko, Crawford, GGG were the top 3 in that order. But Loma didn't fight that well against Linares, GGG has a close fight with Jacobs and a fight he deserved to win against Canelo. Crawford doesn't have the resume of the other guys.

I think any p4p that doesn't include a mix of those 3 and Usyk in the top 4 is an epic fail.

Mikey Garcia and Monster Inoue must be close.

I'm a massive GGG fan but one thing he hasn't done is dominate multiple divisions. Its really difficult to compare p4p fighters imo unless they do that.

p4p is mostly arbitrary anyway. It's there because it's fun to discuss how elite fighters in different weight classes would fight if they fought each other.
