Theories going around that Zeuge threw the fight as a **** you to Sauerland. Zeuge was never all that but no way in hell should he be losing to Rocky Fielding who has to rank as one of the worst world champions in history. Fair play to him though, seems like a decent skin.

168 is really gone to the dogs.
Thanks.

I saw the knockout and Zeuge did look out of condition.

I have no idea how Rocky Fielding can be considered a world champion when George Groves is actually the WBA title holder.

How can you have a regular and super world champion of basically the same belt ?

It's a complete mess all over. Interim, Silver Champion, Inter-Continental, International...all these stupid terms just so that more guys can have a meaningless belt and so that the Alphabets can charge more sanctioning fees and God knows what else. The UFC are starting to get involved with this nonsense too by having interim belts. I know it'll never happen but a one belt per division would be great to see in Boxing.

I wonder what the barriers are to starting a sanctioning body. It seems to be a super-easy grift. There are tons of them with their own belts that aren't the big four.

Based on Chudinov's fight, Gassiev wins if he's standing at the end of 12.

Absolute robbery in Russia. So standard. **** even Chudinov looked surprised that he won.

116-112 x2 Chudinov, 118-111 Mohammedi

I got Gassiev at -105, the riggage is real in Russia and Usyk has looked a little less impressive lately while Gassiev has shown some depth in his last few.

Man every time I see Naseem Hamed he looks like he's gained an additional 50 pounds.

Gassiev is a solid bet. Usyk might be more skilled but Gassiev has a hell of a chin and incredible power.

Can't say im confident in my Usyk bet, given

i) russia
ii) Usyks comments about the crimea situation

he is the better fighter though.

Go go go go Usyk

I actually thought Naz has lost weight

Usyk doesn't look super comfortable vs him yet. His movement doesn't seem to be throwing Gassiev off enough, Gassiev is starting to find a little power.

Second round was close. But first and third to Usyk. Every once in a while, Gassiev lands a body shot but it's otherwise all Usyk.

Usyk gonna tire out and Gassiev gets the KO though

30-27 Usyk

Usyk looking like Lomachenko until that haymaker hit

I got it 3-2 Gassiev. Usyk with rds 1 and 5.

5-0 Usyk

Gassiev prob gonna win a decision though

What 3 rounds can you possibly give Gassiev? I gave him the third since it was close.

Not that i think it matters in Russia. Gassiev could also turn this around bigtime if he became a bit reckless.

Abel Sanchez desperate for his fighter to start actually doing something.

I got it 3-3, BLH has it 6-0, not sure who is scoring there, but has me questioning. A lot of the stuff in rds 2-4 that Usyk threw didn't seem to hit anything but glove and air though...

Usyk running away with it the last 3 rounds

2-4 King, Usyk wasn't landing much, Gassiev noticeably landed impact power shots in 2 and 4 alone.

Usyk outboxing Gassiev. 6-1.

Usyk seems like a pointfighter though. Very much a solid olympic boxing style. Kind of boring. (not much power behind his punches unlike lomachenko)

Usyk is extraordinarily fast for a guy his size. His hand speed is off the charts.

Gassiev can bang to the body but Usyk's taking it well.

Usyk landing a lot more consistently last few rounds, Gassiev showed a few bright spots last round but way too few and far between. He's unlikely to win this with a single punch.

7-1 Usyk but he seems to be breathing heavy at times. Gassiev should probably throw caution to the wind.

Gassiev at 5x odds @ livebetting might be worth a punt. Bookmakers don't care about fair scores.

Gassiev getting really frustrated. Going for the one punch KO.

Usyk by shutout
