Spence absolutely batters Crawford imo. Spence vs Canelo @160 is going to be a sick fight in a few years.

After the first few rounds, we'll know what's what.

If Spence hurts Crawford, then it's leaning more his way.
If Crawford figures out Spence, then gg Spence.

Gotta keep in mind that Brook was causing a lot of trouble for Spence until he got worn down by the pressure. Bud is faster and has more power than Brook.

Watch the fight without Smith and Froch roaring biased nonsense in your ear but you'll see Spence didn't have that many issues with Brook at all. Brook had some early joy as Spence came in and was getting off punches on the counter but Spence was pretty much in complete control after a couple of rounds.

Bud is faster yep but I wouldn't say he's more powerful than Brook.

Exactly what I meant. I remember Spence coming on after his body punching started wearing out Brook. Same with GGG. Brook attacked from angles and had success until GGG's assault wore him down.

Crawford has fought and pummeled opponents who are ultra aggressive pressure fighters. Granted they weren't as good as Spence but it's still not unfamiliar. If Crawford can figure him out in a few rounds like he did with Horn, it's over. Maybe not by KO but definitely decision.

I don’t rate brook that highly but I still think he is significantly better than anyone bud has ever fought

It'll be interesting to see how he fares against Taylor this weekend. He looked a terrific fighter and then Crawford just destroyed him and then he looked pretty unimpressive in his last tuneup fight. Taylor is a huge odds on favourite. Taylor is an absolute monster though.

With Coogler gone, if this is anything other than a cash grab I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I genuinely enjoyed the first one. Michael b Jordan is a solid actor.

Nobody watching Taylor/Postol. Hell of a fight. Very close.

Go Taylor!

From round 4 on, I got Postol winning every round but two. Taylor lands a pretty shot from time to time but Postol is the most consistent. I sense a robbery though.

DOWN GOES POSTOL! Man Taylor is coming on!!

I got it 4-3 Postol (missed first 3 rounds) but that point might be a big deal

Taylor came on strong at the end to win it imo unless Postol took the first 3 rounds.

Plus this is Glasgow and Taylor is Scottish.

Postol has some chin.

WOW! Those cards were an abortion. 119-108 Taylor is absolutely insane the others are just extremely insane. Probably paid off.

The cards really slag off Postol's performance. He did a fantastic job until Taylor started throwing caution to the wind and going balls out towards the end of the fight.

Anyway, Taylor seems to be a strong fighter but he probably shouldn't move up to 147 anytime soon. Those guys will eat him alive.

Man Josh's eye looked ****ed during the interview. His right pupil was massively dilated. Sign of a serious head injury. Hope he's alright.

Taylor has always impressed me but he really took it to new lengths last night. What a performance. I honestly thought he was done for but he rallied incredibly. I'd it 6-6 with the KD giving it to Taylor 114-113. Postol fought very well too, and definitely showed his last fight was a one off sluggish performance. Crawford's win looks a lot better too.

All of this.

The shame is that Postol's performance will be forgotten because people will look at the scorecards and think that Postol was **** when nothing could be further from the truth.

Taylor's shaping up to be a fan favorite and will be a lot of fun to watch in future fights.

Yeah it's a real shame. Fighting in the UK is like fighting in Germany at times. Even a few weeks back when Flanagan was given the fight 117-111 against Hooker. A point or two for Flanagan wouldn't have been disastrous but that card was shocking. At least the right guy won.

Taylor is really a fan favourite, well able to box but well able to get stuck in as well. If his chin holds up he'll go very far and become a huge star. A fight with Prograis has to be the fight to make though. Both guys building a lovely little fanbase and reputation either side of the water and with Crawford's vacated belts scattered about a unification fight could be a year away with the supposed 140 WBSS tourney coming into play.

I hope he doesn't do what Ricky Burns did and build a career based on slanted hometown decisions. I'd like to see him succeed on the road.

Slow pony here but I agree with all of the above. Fair play to Taylor for taking him on with roughly a dozen fights under his belt.

Wilder/AJ probably gonna be put on hold until 2019

AJ's fighting Povetkin next instead.

I honestly want Povetkin to knock out AJ because **** Eddie.

I'm not a fan of Eddie but I think this is all on Wilder's team.

Both fighters want the fight but one team is delusional.

Maybe what boxing needs is a mediator that decides the details and cut the promoters/managers out of the major decisions.

Would be nice.

I think they want this fight to marinate like Mayweather/Pacquiao was and turn in into a monster.

Very possible. Wilder needs to up his fanbase somehow if anything remotely close to that would happen.

I do feel one of the two is due to get sparked soon. Wilder almost got got against Ortiz but rallied well and closed the show incredibly. Joshua is due a scare.

Pity Povetkin is basically a complete bum since he got popped from the juice. I'd give the Povetkin that had severe roid rage after the Wlad debacle, the guy who smashed the likes of Perez and Takam a good shot at clinging Joshua once and then maybe getting lucky and getting the stoppage but the current version arguably got lucky against one of the worst HWs on the planet who has a bit of a following. Joshua will probably carry it until round 5/6 as seems to be his way of fighting scared and cautious but realistically he could smash Povetkin in 2 or 3.
