No question. Loma showed great composure by coming back in the 7th

3-3-1 Even

Should be a 9-9 round, no too often you see those

100% agree. Loma dominated literally the entire round aside from one punch

Close 9th round. Think Linares got it though

4-4-1 Even

Regardless of the scores, I think we've seen Loma's ceiling in regards to weight class

Wow was that unbelievable!

Liver shot?

Linares is gonna feel sick. The fight was so close and one body shot ends it.

damn that was equally surprising. didn't think he could get the knockout, nor did i think he would stay down.

That didn't even look like a hard punch. Linares was landing bombs to the body that did dick to Lomachenko. Loma just had the placement.

Loma looked vulnerable at times during this fight. He got hit way more than I had expected. It seemed as though he was too content to stay in the pocket with Linares, figuring he could move in and out easily. I don't think he'll get away with that against Garcia. As a matter of fact, I think Loma/Garcia is a very close fight.

Side note: ESPN charging $5 per month AND putting on commercials. **** off with that ****.

Which was especially scary for him considering that's what most consider to be Loma's weakness

I really am as impressed with Linares as I am with Loma. Linares looked as though he studied every single move Loma did in his previous fights. He didn't fall for the sneaky moves that Lomachenko's opponents did in the past and was connecting a whole lot more than anybody else ever did.

Looked sickening in the slow mo replay. Sick guy Loma

Yeah Linares was really impressive. If they fight 10 times, he may get one of them.

Split draw on the cards going into the 10th round. I think they're closer than you think.

(I am assuming that the 10 fights would occur in 10 parallel universes rather than a series of matches in one universe. If the latter, then yeah you're probably right since Loma would learn from the previous fights and capitalize.)

Right, 10 "first time" fights.

I didn't have it even but I had it close. I think there is a bit of "voter fatigue" going on sometimes with Loma, similar to GGG. The thought is that he's SO good that a near even round should go to the other guy for exceeding expectations.

Linares did well and he won a few rounds outright, but I don't think they're super close. I do think Loma needs to stay at this weight or lower, as I didn't anticipate his failing to move up as effectively.

That's a good point RT.

I think Garcia/Loma is even money assuming they fight at 135. Wouldn't disagree with anybody who has Garcia as a slight favorite.

In other news, Krzysztof Glowacki, a guy who should have been in the WBSS but wasn't, fought some nobody and knocked him out in less than 2 minutes.

As a matter of fact, he's won every fight since losing to Usyk by UD. Problem is that he seems prone to getting knocked down. He got knocked down against Radchenko who only had 6 professional fights under his belt. I mean he got the UD in the end but still it's kind of embarrassing.

Regardless he puts on a good fight and I'd love to see him fight the Gassiev/Usyk winner if the winner doesn't go up to HW.

Yeah I laughed off a potential fight with Garcia earlier itt.

I was wrong. Mikey probably edges that just based on size. No shame in being an all time great in only 4 weight classes

Presumably the judges gave Linares a 10-8, which would be a 3 point swing on a single punch that didn't even hurt Loma, making the score way closer than the fight really was.

Unreal fight. Thought Loma was slowing and vulnerable at times and then he just explodes! Had it even. Would love a rematch if Limares fancies it!

Loma is so good to watch, but Garcia has to be favourite if its at 140.

Scoring that rd. 10-8 would be pure judging laziness.
