even if first 3 organizations were somewhat corrupt, the talent pool was not being diluted like has happened.
Yep, but this is prob inevitable. MMA will go down this road soon enough. Power leads to corruption.

it did seem like a pretty bad stoppage though. With a round and a half left for the light heavyweight championship of the world, and it wasn't a career threatning injury, let em fight. I mean Pascal probably makes it out to win a decision, but still..standard boxing bs

Meh, times have changed though. There's exorbitant extortion in all professional sports today.

It's ultimately the product that matters most, that's what it always boils down to. And quite frankly, big ticket boxing has been rather boring for pretty much the last 15 years.

this. there was no way they were stopping the blood in a reasonable amount of time.

so?

dawson had at least 10% chance of knocking out pascal imo. And it's a big title fight. And there's only 4 minutes left..Let em continue.

Not making sour grapes bout it...Pascal still wins a decision almost every time. And I'm not even a Dawson fan. JMO

This. It wasn't your standard cut. Blood was *literally* squirting out from above his eye, down his face and onto his chest. Letting somebody fight in that condition is reckless.

adamek was up 5-0 or 4-1 after 5. after 9, its maybe 5-4 adamek and all the momentum is grants way. plus adamek is cut bad. sick game when you give up almost 50 lbs to someone 6-7

Not so bad when you got Grant in front of you. Adamek's got lots of heart, but he has no shot against either Wlad or Vitali K. I don't think he's got enough pop to keep either brother honest. At least he'll get a good payday at HW. Hope he won't get too hurt. I don't think it will matter how much training they give him to try to adjust his fighting to a more American style. He's effective against Grant/Arreola. I imagine that the first solid bomb that lands on him will KO him from the bros. Actually, a fight against Haye would be interesting.

I missed the Rigondeaux fight on FOX sports. Good to hear he got the KO. He's going to fight for a title soon.

Too bad Marquez/Juanma had to get pushed out. I was looking forward to that one.

Why should the time/importance of the fight dictate stoppage? The idea that context should modify rules designed for safety is absurd.

Fraudley deserves a shot at world title even after Martin Rogan battered him?

If he doesn't dispose of Harrison, quickly, and then in a timely manner start setting up a fight against the Klits...he will become a running joke. Haye has been good for the sport, in particular the struggling HW division, but it's time to back up his talk and hype with some action.

We'll see I spose.

LOL, Calderon, I would understand. But Maidana has a very TV friendly style.

"I'm on vacation for about a year, about a year," Mayweather said. "As soon as we come off vacation, we're going to cook that little yellow chump. We ain't worried about that. So they ain't gotta worry about me fighting the midget. Once I kick the midget ass, I don't want you all to jump on my d---. So you all better get on the bandwagon now. ... Once I stomp the midget, I'll make that mother f----- make me a sushi roll and cook me some rice."

" 'Poochiao' got three losses and two draws and been knocked out twice," Mayweather said. "So, like I said before, once I beat him it's going to be a cakewalk and it's on to the next. ... We know Pacquiao made $6 million in his last fight and Floyd Mayweather made $65 million in his last fight. Three losses, two draws. Ohhh, hell no, this is America baby. We built on winning. Step your game up, f----t. ... That mother f----- Pacquiao, he can't speak no English. He never seen a contract he didn't like. Mother f----- signed with two companies [Top Rank and Golden Boy]. Look it up. And then this mother f------ with Nike only got 70 Gs. How stupid can a mother f----- be? Reebok gave me a million dollars for three weeks. I wore Reebok s--- for a week for a million dollars. ... This mother f------'s name is Emmanuel. He got a fake name, taking power pellets."

Mayweather hired George Washington Duke as his new manager?

Quote:
Got to challenge that man to fight, Tommy. If he refuses, you gotta insult him! You gotta dog him, you gotta humiliate him. Do whatever you got to do to get him into that ring! But that's what you got to do.

This fight is going to blow.

It's 52-48 either way and if Floyd wins the noise is going to be insufferable
