Welp I missed the time zone differences and didn’t even watch the fight it sounded pretty good with some close rounds but clear Ramirez win. Oh well I’ll have to watch replay some time I have not seen much of Ramirez

Murat Gassiev also rumored to consider moving to HW if he beats Usyk. Could make for a resurgence in the division.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship is making an audacious bid to sign a promotional multi-fight deal with Anthony Joshua which could earn the Londoner $500 million (£353 million) and make him the richest British boxer of all time.

Joshua has become boxing’s biggest star and The Daily Telegraph understands Dana White, the UFC president, will attend his title fight with Joseph Parker in Cardiff on Saturday week and plans to meet with the 28-year-old and his team.

Canelo suspended by NSAC, meeting with commission on April 10. Don't expect much to come from it 🤷

Tonight (being shown live in the US as well). Buffer's been flown in for announcement duties as well.

Both are a bit chinny imo. At the odds I'd prefer to be on big Lucas.

How is Whyte chinny?

Chinny probably the wrong term, but he's been rocked and wobbled several times in his career. AJ, Chisora, Helenius.

No activity in here for the fight?

Whyte dominated him. Everyone knew that was coming after the first few rounds. I bet the ref or Browne's corner would have stopped it after another round, but he didn't make it that long.

Good performance by Whyte. Would love to see him in with Wilder this year

I'm just glad that there is now no chance of Browne V Wilder. I'd fear for Browne's safety in that one.

That's gonna one of the top KOs of 2018.

Browne coming in looking like a fat piece of ****. Whyte looks much bigger than usual too though.

ffs Browne was over 264 lbs. He weighed 250 when he KOed Chagaev.

Not only was he dosing on clenbuterol in tablet form he probably ended up at the wrong bbq and completely messed things up.

The fight will go ahead anyway because boxing does what boxing has always done .. ie turns a blind eye when big money is involved.

It would be so cool if they cancelled the GGG fight and threw the book at Canelo.

As is Golovkin, as is every other elite boxer now. Joshua, Lomachenko, Kovalev, Spence, Crawford etc. As was Floyd, Manny, Marquez etc etc etc. Who actually cares, it's gone way beyond the point of no return. Stop the bull**** and let the fight happen. Either ban everyone or ban nobody.

At a certain level, they're all using.

It's the people who are journeymen and can't afford the designer steroids the big names have that are more likely to be clean.

Nowadays, I assume that every pro athlete is using. Exceptions being obvious positions like kicker in the NFL or Olympic shooting.

What are Parker chances against Joshua? I have never seen a fight of him.

Parker has better hand speed than Joshua, stamina too and I'd quietly think he has the better chin than Joshua as well. If he happens to be blessed with a David Tua like chin it's going to be a very interesting fight. If he turns up in trim shape and actually goes for it he has a very live chance. If he gets too emotional he'll likely be picked off and stopped. His most notable fight was against Hughie Fury probably which was a stinker of a fight from Hughie and Parker looked frustrated and wild. I wouldn't take too much out of the fight except that he got through it and grinded it out. His fight with Takam was a good scrap. He looked great against Dimitrenko but poor against Ruiz. You'd have to assume he'll be in the shape of his life for this and motivation will be sky high so with that I'd give him a decent chance of winning. I think Joshua by UD at 5/1 is a nice bet.

7.2 (6.2/1) on betfair. I agree its a nice price; Parker could well have a chin, who knows.

But he's losing either way. I'll be backing Joshua at 1.18, easy money.
