Will be interesting if Ortiz can take his best shots. Wilder coming in at 214 is probably no big deal as its only 6lbs lighter than his last fight and we saw what he did to Bermaine.

I definitely give Ortiz more of a shot than most of the pundits seems to be

Brook fight coming up now.

His career as a championship contender hangs on this fight. If he loses this, he's done for as nothing more than a B-side for main events.

----------------------

Kell looking as expected. Looks like this is either gonna end early or be a glorified sparring session.

EDIT: And it did end early. Looked like Rabchenko didn't bother trying to get up. He was completely outclassed and Kell did exactly what he was supposed to do.

Hopefully I’ll never see the Dirrells again . Pretty tired of them . I know the one arguably beat froch but what a waste of talent

Dirrell has some fight left in him. Uzcategui up 4-2 here, losing the last 2? He needs to throw a bit more I think, ultimately if he can keep him on the ropes he should wear him out and take him down.

Couple of these rounds are close, I hope there's a definitive event here before it hits the cards.

Wait was it Dirrell who quit or the trainer?

Christ.

Johnny Nelson tearing Dirrell apart. I mean Dirrell had a pretty unlucky run in his career with neurological issues probably linked to the two DQs he suffered. But Dirrell was game in this fight. He could've kept going. I mean he was losing but not by a whole lot.

Oh well Bivol/Barrera just about to start.

Haha, Dirrell clearly didn't want to keep fighting, then as soon as they call it off he pretends he wanted to keep going.

Yeah now that they show the replay it's clear he quit.

Barrera walking into too many shots, don't think he'll last 12 rounds.

Yeah. You can hear Bivol's power while Barrera's punches either whiff or are blocked.

Can someone post when Wilder starts? Watching Bivol now too.

Barrera is really expending a lot of energy and not getting a lot out of it. Bivol probably will end this at some point if he keeps this kind of snap on his punches. He looks more patient than gunshy right now.

I don't know that Ortiz can handle Wilder's reach and power for 12 rounds. Best opponent easily for both guys though, really interested to see how it goes.

Ortiz looking very solid so far.

Wilder doesn't want to make a mistake and get his clock cleaned. Hoping that Ortiz slows up or makes a mistake himself. In the meantime, Ortiz is winning rounds.

not like it matters who wins the rounds.. Wilder is not losing a decision.

He needs to wear Ortiz down a little bit more though if he's going to take this strategy. I thought he opened up round 4 with some good pop and shots, they didn't really land but they looked sharp. You'd have to imagine that Wilder will open up more as this fight goes on, he doesn't strike me as a guy to just hop around for 12 rounds and lose a decision.

He is like a street fighter though.

That hurt him more than the commentary suggested.

Props to Wilder for staying up.

People thought Ortiz had no shot. I knew he had it though.

Man Ortiz hit him hard a bunch of times there.

This doctor thing sucks, gives Wilder more time to potentially recover.
