Gassiev moving forward with a lot more confidence now. Dorticos needs to use the jab and land more punches. He looks a bit tired.

Can't believe I missed the first four rounds.

Gassiev has some ridiculous power. Took that round. Starting to wear him down. Dorticos has a good chin though.

Dorticos has to throw combos. He's only throwing one punch at a time. Not gonna win with one punch. Gassiev doing well in the two rounds I've seen.

I think it's 5-2 or 6-1 Gassiev. Most of Dorticos punches are only landing partially, I did not expect Gassiev to have such quality defense here.

And on the flip side Gassiev is landing clean with an assortment of punches that have to be taking a real toll on Dorticos.

Round 7 was close Dorticos did enough work early to take it. Not sure what the first 4 rounds are but I have 5-7 at 2-1 Gassiev

Gassiev seems to take the last 30 seconds off every round. That could cost him if this goes the distance.

Seems that Dorticos controls the fight from the outside but every so often Gassiev lands a monster power shot. Dorticos has some chin and that was another close round.

9 clearly a Gassiev round. I do think 3-4 of these rounds were quite close, but Gassiev lands the cleaner stuff. Dorticos isn't really having effectiveness with the aggression. Lots of glove shots.

Dorticos has some balls. Standing toe-to-toe with Gassiev takes guts.

Gassiev wins 10 with an impressive array of power shots. Dorticos fought back and landed some solid shots towards the end, but not near the amount of damage Gassiev inflicted. I'm content to be at 7-3 at this point in the fight. I can easily see 8-2 or 6-4.

Dorticos was hurt there, cleared his head so fast though. Really seemed to punch himself out a bit in the first 1.5-2 min of that round, it was pretty close up to that point.

Man this CW tournament has been fantastic.

Great round by Gassiev and great heart from Dorticos. Dorticos looked like he was pushing his punches in the 11th.

Such a smart fight by Gassiev, very impressive. That left hook was nasty.

Dorticos has an iron chin, what toughness. I'm not sure I've seen a tougher display in recent years given what we've seen Gassiev's power do to several top cruiserweights. Even at the end you could see he was trying to stay up but his body wasn't cooperating.

Heartbreaker for Dorticos. 20 seconds left in the last round.

Probably would have lost it on the cards anyway but still. Hell of a fight. Wish I didn't miss the early rounds.

I'm really impressed by Dorticos. This is the first time I've seen him fight. He has a granite chin and a hell of a heart. Wish the ref let him try and get up after the third knockdown.

Gassiev's power is absolutely insane. He might be a favorite fighting against Usyk. Perhaps Gassiev considers moving up to HW if he wins the tournament.

Scorecards

An error was made adding the score on the far right scorecard. Should be 106-103 Gassiev.

So even if Dorticos won the last round, it would have been a majority decision for Gassiev.

Aside from the math errors (there was a corrected one in the third scorecard), the judging was quite good if it got to that point. I watched the first four rounds on YT and had it 106-103 going into the 12th myself.

Andy Lee's watched both of them spar a lot and reckons Groves wins if it's not a tear up.

Froch on the other hand has sparred them both and says Eubank wins. Says he's hit Eubank with his best shots and he didn't budge.
