What most people probably think is that Loma
is the best p4p boxer in the world right now
but he needs to have more fights to
prove it, if that makes sense.
Beat Rigo convincingly and it's hard to argue against Loma being #1 (Crawford and GGG being the only real contenders after Ward retired), but he lost a little in my eyes by not going down to 128lb (which he could easily) to take this fight. Rigo has a reach advantage but he can't put on the weight.
If Rigo wins, he might as well retire, it's hard enough to get someone in the ring with him as it is.
Regardless of the outcome of this fight, Loma is building up to a massive fight with Garcia anyway imo.
Out of interest, if its a draw would you think Rigo is p4p #1?
