That first round couldn't have gone any better unless he won it there.

Krusher looked good but seemed a bit easy to hit.

Honestly, I think Bivol could give Kov a run for his money. I'd like to see Bivol skip over Barrera.

Can't believe nobody's watching. Cotto shook in the 2nd round.

EDIT: Shook him in the 4th as well

Even after 4

Gave Ali a close round 1, round 2 and Cotto round 3 so far.

Fight is way closer than I had expected.

Same. And mostly seems to be Cotto struggling with Ali than Ali doing anything spectacular.

Cotto looks a bit slower both in hand and foot speed. But he's walking him down and can clearly hurt Ali, so wouldn't surprise me if Cotto KOs him (or starts putting rounds together).

I dislike that Ali keeps walking straight back into the ropes.

I think Cotto shook off the ring rust in the 6th.

Ali ain't jumping on Cotto when he hurts him. He's too passive.

I don't think the punches they keep talking about "hurting Cotto real bad" are hurting Cotto that much. Ali has thrown at least a handful of punches after Cotto got hit with big punches and Cotto has dodged everything pretty well. No way he's in big trouble in these situations. I think Ali risks KO if he goes harder in both those situations. A guy hurt real bad isn't dodging jabs and straight rights and left hooks.

That said, Cotto definitely seems to be feeling the pace a bit at this point. Good fight.

That was a nothing round. However, I think Ali may be winning this fight. Cotto needs to pick it up.

Nah he was hurt. You can see it in his legs and the fact that he'll go against the ropes and stop throwing.

Ali is winning this fight imo

That time Cotto looked visibly shaken, couldn't get his balance back that quickly. Ali ****ed it up though, throwing those super wide, televised rights. He should jab him a few times to set something up in those spots, I can feel his corner's frustration.

Wonder if Cotto broke his hand. He hasn't thrown his right much.

116-112 Ali imo

Cotto gets the win though because it's his last fight + NYC

Yea he didn't look the same after he was hurt in round 10. Whether it's a hand or endurance or damage.

Nice to see that sentimentality didn't influence the scorecards.

Cotto said he tore his bicep in the 7th, it looked really bad in the post fight interview

If Conor boxes again, should he fight De La Hoya, Paulie or Manny (these are the most prominent options)?

Watched all the ufc fights last night instead of Cotto. Pretty bummed my guy went out like that but i like Ali and was high on him before Vargas fight . Doubt he has power to hang at 154 but lots of good fights at 147. Give him chance to avenge v Vargas imo. Not the biggest fight but i would watch. Now that he has belt he kind of has to stay at 154 tho
