Bivol to be heavyweight champ within 5 years ?

He's only giving Joshua 6 stone

Bellew ran up to heavyweight rather than have to fight Usyk.

There are stories Usyk will move up soon as well ... no idea if its true though.

I've seen a lot of bad lists, but that one ranks pretty high.

Povetkin, Ortiz, Browne and the other drug cheats should have a royal rumble, and gtfo of these rankings.

Gassiev is so young and has such a ridiculously big frame that he'll grow into decently sized heavy. If his stamina and speed don't dwindle too much I'd give him a shot at pretty much anyone at HW. Chris Arreola said he's the hardest puncher he's ever sparred and Ola Afolabi said he's the hardest he's ever been in with. Guys with tonnes of experience. Given his age, natural size and potential to develop even further I think he could cause absolute havoc.

I love Usyk. Such a beautiful fighter and such a funny guy outside the ring. He'll definitely move up to HW too, and who's to say he doesn't box the ears off everyone? His lack of power is a factor for me though. He can keep guys honest perhaps but keep guys off him for 12 I doubt it compared to Gassiev.

Briedis as well is another who could have some joy. Very physical and can box well and won't be roughed around. Already went up to HW and nearly killed Charr, a guy who's fighting a title eliminator against Ustinov.

CW ain't no joke. Who's to say Dorticos can't move up either? Power, talent and size in abundance in that Cruiser top 4.

Is it just me that finds this betting line outrageous. Wach is a good fighter and there are tons of question marks against how good Miller really is. 1.06 is madness. This is a good lay bet against Big Baby I reckon. I think 1.35-1.50 more realistic. What u guys think?

no I definitely agree with you and already put some money on wach. ofc my last 3 boxing bets have been losers but they were all big underdogs (Granados at +1400 was last one). I expect miller to win but I think there are still huge question marks with him and the odds seem too high. I don't think miller is anything special and a lot can happen with heavyweights

I doubt in pans out that way ... but we can hope.
We are 100% getting Haye v. AJ/DW as a stall fight after he thrashed Bellend. We don't get nice things often.

Pounding the AJ line at anything under -200 probably.

Wilder fighting AJ before any other decent boxer is just bad business.

Eddie Hearn won't have it.

Haye v Wilder in the UK would be a great promo fight and realistically not much risk at all for Wilder (if he's anywhere near what he thinks he is).

Guess I'll skip on Daniel Jacobs vs Luis Arias tonight. Arias looks like a solid fighter but I don't expect him to do much to Jacobs.

Had some solid fights going on in Edinburgh. Watched him on the big screen at a pub. No big names just good fighting.

Anything worth watching on the ESPN card tonight? Beterbiev v Koelling for a Light Heavyweight title. The former is 11-0 with 11 KO

Beterbiev is a hot prospect never seen the other guy but only 6 KOs in his 20 wins means he probably sucks and is gonna get smashed

Hit the nail on the head there mutigers. Quite frankly the fight should have been stopped much earlier. Koeling averaged 5 landed punches were round.

Jacobs/Arias & Big Baby/Wach were both blowouts as well. Good thing I didn't stay awake for them. Big Baby looks like he'd be an interesting B-side for Joshua or Wilder. Moves well for a 280 pounder and can take a punch. He isn't a threat to beat either because he's pretty predictable but he'd be game.

Mystic Mac Prediction: I think Joshua fights Pulev next and Wilder and Parker fight a choice of Breazeale and Whyte each. Most likely Wilder/Whyte Parker/Breazeale. Povetkin could be in range of Parker once he beats Hammer next month so Parker will want to cash in ASAP but I doubt he'll get it next.

Joshua looks to fight Parker after Pulev while Wilder looks to fight Haye should he get by Bellew and look decent. All sets up for winner of Joshua/Parker vs winner of Wilder/Haye for unification in early 2019.

Good LHW action tonight.

Kovalev vs. Shabranskyy isn't a gimme fight for Kov. I mean he should win and probably by KO but Shabranskyy has only lost once and that was to Sullivan Barrera. He has 16 KOs in his 19 wins.

Barrera vs. Valera, on the other hand, shouldn't be all that hard for Barrera. Pretty sure he wipes the floor with him. Valera lost to Bivol but went the distance against him. I got Barrera by wide UD.

Sets us up for Kovalev/Barrera. Hopefully, Dmitry Bivol gets a shot at one of them soon because Bivol looks like an absolute monster.

Guess the judges disagreed.

Barrera doing well but Bivol looked way better against Valera than Barrera has.

Valera should have been DQed for that third low blow.

Ya, that decision was not what I expected.

Valera is a madman! Great fun

I'm not convinced at all by Barrera

Bivol/Barrera would be a very competitive fight. One that I think Bivol wins, but competitive nonetheless.
