fwiw as an old who watched some of the games today...the pitch clock may be the best invention in MLB since the batting helmet.

also fwiw I don't expect that rule to be around in the post-season.

As of right now, the pitch clock is there both for regular season and postseason, right? I don't see them go back on that if it's a success in the regular season.

Does anyone really need 4 hour 9 inning playoff games?

If the spring training trend persists and regular season games are 26 minutes shorter on average, I'm going to some weekday early games this season.

And I'd be shocked if it wasn't.
