Supposedly GGG vs. Canelo is awaiting a decision by GGG on the new agreement. Should know by 3 PM tomorrow.

Agreed I would def be willing to bet it won’t happen in 2018 with even odds. I hope I’m wrong .I wish I had more disposable income st the moment as I would freaking love to fly to England to watch it . Those fans are just levels above Americans . In other news I’m gonna go to the ESPN fights on 6/30 in OKC. Pretty ****ty card with Gilberto Ramirez headlining and a bunch of people I have never heard of on the co main and undercard but whatever. Going with the gfs grandpa . Prob the last live card he will ever see we don’t get to see much in the Midwest so I’ll take what I can get. He tells stories of seeing sugar ray Robinson in an exhibition in bum **** Oklahoma when he was a kid and he loves boxing so glad we can watch together at least I love the guy . He Was a wrestler at OU then a foreign ambassador in Central America. Interesting stories for sure

I know it’s a fight no one is really clamoring for but personally I would like to see manny rematch horn and avenge his “loss” then retire . It’s a match he could (should) win and would let him go out on top rather than potentially getting completely embarrassed by someone else like lomachenko or someone bigger who could really hurt him . That being said I think Lomachenko pacquiao would be a very easy sell for ESPN and everyone involved would make a lot more money so I expect it to happen . Not really the worst idea in the world since Manny wouldn’t get hurt too bad in all likelihood and frankly if you squint hard enough you could see Manny holding his own I think and not getting embarrassed. I think Linares showed that as generational as Loma is he is only human and he just isn’t that big . I expect that fight to happen for sure and much prefer it over Manny Crawford of course which I would
Have a difficult time watching. I’m kind of embarrassed that as recently as maybe two years ago or so I think I said ITT I still might favor manny over Crawford . That is obviously completely wrong at this point and it’s not even a remotely interesting fight for me other than for torch passing bs purposes. It’s a waste of time

This would never happen because he isn’t a household name yet but if manny wants to fight at 140 I personally would be really interested in seeing him fight Regis Prograis. Pipe dream but would be interesting to me as I think Progais is really marketable and very talented yet hasn’t fought any big names yet . Doubt the promoter stuff would work either

GGG Canelo 2 done.

GGG and Loeffler went from 35% to 42.5%, possibly more.

Lol Oscar and his trains leaving stations.

Canelo by UD this time.

He won't win the fight, but he'll "win" the fight.

GGG's knocking him out this time. He was really tentative in the first fight but he's gonna walk through Canelo now that he knows how much power he's got.

yeah im pretty sure GGG needs to stop him, and he'll do it.

depends on whether Canelo's got any more magical Mexican meat in his freezer

Saunders got ****ed. He faked the hamstring injury to get out of the Murray fight and set up a GGG fight for August because they weren't going to fight Canelo. Then a Hail Mary pass burns BJS.

Wow, there was an agreement between GGG and BJS, GGG wasn't playing around. The man was playing chicken without a steering wheel.

Canelo is slick enough to avoid getting KO'd tho.

Yeah, GGG has felt his power now and knows where he's at, but Canelo is still hard to hit. GGG will have to focus on containing him and preventing that "shoulder roll, pivot left" move Canelo spammed to get out of jams last time.

Also, Canelo's got a decent chin. I don't think GGG can just bullrush in a get a KO.

GGG will no doubt have intentions to put one Canelo this time after all that has gone on.

I fancy GGG to do a pretty good number on Canelo and get the KO.

Of course, GGG gotta cut off the ring not go straight in.

Spence is fighting tonight v a no hoper. Kind of hope Crawford shows up and gets in the ring afterwards and talks some **** on Spence . Unfortunate both guys are so soft spoken because that’s the number one fight in the sport talent wise. If we can get that, Garcia Loma , wilder Joshua next year it would be an insanely good year. Of the three Spence Crawford is the one fight I wouldn’t be too mad if they let marinate a bit. Crawford’s resume is still pretty thin even tho he kills the eye test...through no fault of his own ofc.

Boxing always operates in waves. One good year, then the next year is meh to hype up the year after which is good.

Loma looked human against Linares. I had that fight even going into the eventual final round.

Bud/Spence is the fight to watch. I do think Bud wins but man will it be fun to watch.

If anything, Loma makes me appriciate Manny that much more. Obviously divisions get spaced further out as one climbs, but goddamn 8 of them??

I don't believe Spence/Bud will be that close, but certainly closer than Bud's fights to date. Even if I'm right, it will be fun to see Bud pushed harder in the ring.
