He is fighting Martirosyan which basically will be a demolition. Early lines have GGG at 1.02 so lol.

Golovkin is now 1.03. That's arguably value too. I mean does anyone give Vanes more than a 1% chance? That's giving Vanes or the draw a 3% chance which is laughable. Vanes hasn't even fought at 160 before IIRC.

Maybe GGG can break his own hand before the fight to make it more of a challenge.

Disagree I thought Vargas won first five rounds pretty obviously ( altho wasn’t much in the first) whereas I thought a few of the broner rounds were much less clear. I can’t remember whic round it was in 2nd half but there was one I thought Vargas clearly won. Could def see a draw but I saw five clear Vargas rounds that weren’t close plus round one I think he won relatively close. Then there were about two rounds that probably leaned broner very slightly but could have gone to Vargas . Ofc I’m biased because broner is a complete clown but i feel quite comfortable giving Vargas a draw at worst personally Dan Rafael had it 2-2 after four which I think is utterly absurd. It’s Adelaide Byrd levels of cluelessnesss to even consider giving broner any of 2-4 IMHO

I must have watched a different fight because I thought Vargas won that convincingly.

Broner's proof that yelling when you throw your punches and shaking your head every time you're hit can be an eye-catching replacement for actual offense.

Broner fights like he hates getting hit. I wonder if he's got some PTSD from the Maidana fight. He had opportunities to take this fight towards the end but was too passive to take control. Vargas didn't have the power to hurt him and Broner didn't amp up his aggression to take the fight from Vargas.

Didn't see the fight, but sounds like AB overperformed and/or Vargas underperformed. Vargas should win 10 rounds against AB, AB is like a malfunctioning machine. He has pretty punches, but doesn't seem to aim them or really commit to them. He also refuses to throw when being thrown at and has no lateral movement. We got robbed of a classic in Maidana AB 2, sucks that Haymon convinced a very reluctant AB to drop his rematch clause so Maidana could fight Floyd (though that was a quality fight too).
