That's a type of knockout that is very hard to come back from. He's never going to be the same, imo.

The HBO 24/7 guys are probably pissed they have to potentially think up new storylines for the fifth installment

thank god he got up

such a ****** move with 2 seconds left in the round, especially when he was dominating the round

This. I wouldn't be surprised to see him hang it up. Two straight losses and a controversial decision win in his last 3 fights is hard to come back from at his age.

He's got a life outside of boxing that he can retire to now. Time for Manny to hang them up.

this past 24/7 was their worst one yet. couldnt bear another one for jmm/pac.

the first episode was just highlights from the 3 previous fights, with some commentary from the fighters/trainers.

I'm so happy my precious baby of a thread got the type of fight it deserved.

That's the best big card fight I've seen in years. YEARS. The bar I was at was deafening from round 3 onwards.

Tonight proved it, beyond any shadow of a doubt:

Elite boxing >>>>>>>>>>>> all

lollllllll this reporter just asked bob arum "how stunned were you at this?" and I could have sworn on my life he was asking "how stoned were you at this?" which would have been completely legitimate question for bob arum

Very surprised that Manny got so careless at the very end of a round when he was basically about to finish Marquez off in the next 2-3 rounds tops given Marquez' bloodied face... have to say that Freddie Roach is partially to blame... his fighters have been losing, I'm not sure Freddie had told Manny to not open himself up as Manny went for the KO in rounds 5-6....

This would be Freddie's fourth straight loss as a trainer, right?

Amir, Chavez Jr, and Pacman (x2)?

Just indulge me for a few moments. Let's pretend Pacquiao isn't done, and the Pac-JMM saga is complete.

Is the Pac-Money fight either a) dead for good or b) more likely to happen? I could see arguments for both.

A clean test won't stop detractors from questioning Marquez's new frame.

To be honest, it really doesn't matter imo. Roids or no roids, a punch like that is going to knock anybody down.

could manny fire roach, like amir did?

Well yeah, they'll simply say Angel did a great job of covering up the roids...but, if it comes back dirty Marquez is done and he'll go down in history as a cheat.
