Dodge Broner ???

Why on earth would Floyd dodge Broner ...

Floyd is number one for a reason, hes also never even come close to losing for a reason ..

Im not falling for all this Broner hype rubbish over one decent performance, the guy nearly lost to De Leon.

I would love nothing more than FW stopped being a tit and gave Burns decent opponents instead of the rubbish hes fighting on the 8th.

I reckon Burns would give Broner all kinds of trouble .. he may not win but he will expose Broner for not being the next superstar of boxing.

Floyd would dismantle Broner ... because thats what he does ... the guy just does not get hard fights .. regardless of who the opponent is.

I'm buying into it. As long as he's able to keep his head on his shoulders, he could be the next big thing. Otherwise, he'll be a headcase like Zab Judah.

Never knew that. Well theres usually no smoke without fire. Hope its not true though.

Mayweather-Broner is obviously not going to happen anytime soon. There is a lot of weight between them and Broner is still very young and although he is a very long way off at the moment he does have the potential to fill Mayweather's shoes as one of the highest earners in the sport in years to come. They wouldn't risk a loss this early, for the same reasons I don't see Alvarez-Mayweather happening anytime soon.

"hes also never even come close to losing for a reason .."

A lot of people thought Castillo beat him.

"Floyd would dismantle Broner ... because thats what he does"

With a statement like that you might as well change your name to Floyd_Fanboy.

I agree with you about Ricky Burns. He will need to make a decision at some point whether he wants to go the Frank Warren way and earn nice money fighting mediocre opposition or do what Ricky Hatton did and leave Warren and try to take on the very best.

There's a tip going around about Tyson Fury winning in the 5th round. Really have no idea how credible it is but sure it might be worth a few quid for some interest.

YB - lol, tremendous.

I'm looking forward to seeing Eubank Jr. His old man in the background to this interview is tilting the **** out of me though.

I will admit to being a wee little fanboy of Mayweather

I dont know why people still under-estimate how good he is, its almost a reluctance to admit it because hes a flash bugger.

Its a shame hes only had 4 fights since Hatton, which was roughly 5 years ago now.. but they have been against Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz and Cotto.

Its not like he has bum fights anymore.

I would love to see him fight Alvarez .. it would be a good fight for Mayweather to take.

PS .. Bradley Price cannot half take some tap ... fair play to him.

I dont get it with this kid, is he holding something back? He looks real sharp but never seems to hurt the guy.

The arrogance towards his own camp in the corner is disgusting.

Hate to say it but the arrogant, showboating prick Eubank Jr has got some pretty good skills and is looking very good for less than 10 fight pro. Excellent movement, good handspeed, good jab, good shots from weird angles. Still want him to lose though, too cocky

Eubank needs to cut out all the nonsense showboating. Nobody likes seeing that. You have to be very good to get away with it like Naseem Hamed.

Yeah his dad used to tilt me like crazy. Benn v Eubanks battles were epic though.

Good BBC Doc on youtube about their battle. Broken down in 4 parts.

Johnson promising a great fight. This coming from a man who threw 1 punch a round vs Vitali.

Gotta give some respect to Fury there. Boxed intelligently, dont think Johnson was ever gonna get KO'd so a landslide points win it is. WP IMO.

Meh, he looked ok, was in shape. But when you have absolutely nothing coming back at you. Not much to say on it really, cept Next. It was a good choice though for Tyson at this point. The fans, not so much.
