I would suggest either:
1) seek an alternative line of work.
2) not losing his cool as soon as he gets hit and attempting to start a war, pointing at his chin and calling the other guy on - this tends to result in him simultaneously getting knocked out and looking like a knob.

Speaking of Hype ,Why do people think Froch hasnt had 1/10th the amount of attention as Khan or even Haye get?

Even Froch admits that basically no one outside of boxing has a clue who he is. Did he hire the nut low PR people in the world ?

I suppose there is more interest in Khans weight division and he was former Olympic athlete.

Froch is also monotone as **** in interviews.

Some guys seem to have improved punch resistence to some extent though - Nigel Ben was regarded as chinny, but look what happened against McLellan. (I seem to recall a change in his training aimed at his neck or something or other.) Both Haye and Vlad have looked painfully chinny in the past but have done OK in the last few years. Still, if you look at Barera V Morales etc it's hard to imagine Khan even having the chin to withstand that kind of fight - no matter what he does.

It beats me to be honest. It's not like he's boring to watch or doesn't try to promote himself. Maybe he took a few bad turns in terms of TV contracts etc - not sure.

Haye was really hyped when he started, and I think was on BBC for a while. Khan had the Olympics, as Audley H did, but even then Froch has struggled to get the recognition you'd expect.

Froch should glass someone to garner some attention imo.

Khan in response to Froch saying he'd retire if it was him:

"Carl's always got his little things to say, I think I'll leave it at that really. I'm a young fighter, I'm 25, I'm not talking about retiring, I'm still young and I've got a lot in me," said Khan.

"If he wants to retire, he can retire, he's talking about retiring. I'm in a tougher division. I'm fighting better opposition and I'm a bigger name than him, and I think that's what burns him really".

Dick.

This is why most boxing fans in the UK dont like Khan.

He truly believes hes a boxing superstar and is on the same level as Mayweather , and all his defeats can be explained away through excuses.

To say hes fighting tougher opponents than Froch is ridiculous .. Froch would never lose ( let alone be KO'd ) against a equivalent fighter like Prescott, Peterson and Garcia at super middle.

Ive said it many times in boxing forums that Khan will have nowhere to go by the time hes reached 27.

What options does he have now ?, surely moving upto 147 against the bigger punchers is a recipe for disaster considering his only form of defence when hurt is to attack !

The reason why Froch has not had the exposure he should of had was because he spent way too long being promoted my Mike Hennessey.

Hennessey is a useless waste of time and im pretty sure Froch stayed with him until early 2011.

wlad is a fighter who has learned to adapt to having no chin. he just stays out of range all day and it makes for snoozefests.

check out his ko loss against corrie sanders many moons ago, pretty reminiscent of a khan lolbout

i dont see why froch should comment on khan to be honest, but the reply is hilarious. 'i'm a bigger name than froch even though i'm ****, he mad'

Seriously though, who next for Khan?

Can't think of any name.

A fight against Kell Brook would sell in the UK.

Khan was quoted recently as saying he thought the fight was below him at this stage of his career but after the Garcia KO it might be worth a rethink.

Maybe he could fight Ricky Hatton's face? They must weigh about the same.

A fight against Brook at 147 next would be boxing suicide for Khan.

If I were Brook I'd give that a miss. He'd bring nothing but a tough evening of boxing and a few quid. I don't think there's enough upside for Brook to want to take the fight.

Brook will not fight Khan next anyway.

He had a bit of a eye opener last time out ( which is a good thing long term ), he will change his approach and test it out on a decent but not great opponent and then go for his world title shot if things go well.

Then .... perhaps by that time, Khan will possibly have had a couple of fights at 147 and then he will no doubt want to challenge Brook.

I hate to say it because Im a fan but I fear Brook will turn out to be a fraud just like Khan, he leaves himself too open and against World Class opposition he will get found out. He's basically been spoon fed thus far in his career, time to step it up and face someone legit. Really hope Im wrong and he can make the step up because I think the American public will really take to him.

Huge LOL @ those Khan quotes about Froch. Khan isn't fit to tape Froch's gloves.

I think a lot people are basing Brook on his performance against Carson and holding judgement on how good he might become and thats fair enough.

I think Brook will have learned a lot and be far better for it, I also think Carson turned out to be better than most gave him credit for.

After the recent Brook and Khan's performances im asking myself how would Garcia have fared against Carson at say 147 ?

Im not convinced Garcia would have beaten Carson at all tbh .. this is why i think Brook will deal with Khan fairly easily at 147.

Improving your chin starts by building stronger neck muscles. When you get punched in the chin like a boxer, your brain basically sloshes around inside your head when your neck snaps back. Having stronger neck muscles make it less likely for your head to snaps back, thus saving your brain some trauma.

I have to wonder about what kind of shape Khan gets into for fights. He looked like a super fighting machine in the first round. This was pointed out by one HBO commentator and the other HBO commentator said, Khan always looks great in the 1st round. If Khan had continued to fight with such sharpness and vigor I can't see Garcia - or maybe anybody else for that matter - getting to him. But I thought he looked like an entirely different fighter in the 2nd round. I mean, it's only the 2nd round and he's already having to take part of the round off. Poor cardio translates to a poor chin as well. A tired fighter does not take a punch as well as a fresh one does. If there's something to this then that's certainly something Khan could work on to improve.

I'm not a Khan fan at all but his statement that he posted on his blog today didn't seem too bad. At least he gives Garcia credit:

"I would like to thank all my fans and well wishers for the amazing support I've had from you since my defeat on Saturday night. Obviously the fight never went as planned but credit has to go to Danny Garcia who caught me with a good shot in the third round that I couldn't fully recover from.

I guess that's boxing, where one punch can change everything, it's the reason so many fans love the sport. Many fighters down the years have bounced back from defeat to prove their greatness and that's exactly what I intend to do.

I've never shirked any challenge or refused to fight anyone in my division even though it would have been easy for me to do so. Some may say that attitude is the wrong one to have but I've always wanted to please the fans and be involved in exciting fights because many of you pay good money to come and watch me, and it's only right that you get to see the best fighting the best, especially in an age when so many top fighters hand-pick opponents.

I'm going to spend the next few weeks relaxing during Ramadan and recharging my batteries after what was a 16 week training camp for me. I'll then sit down with my team to assess the options in front of me.

Well done to Danny Garcia on his performance, but I promise that I'll bounce back stronger than ever as I look to regain my spot at the top of the 140lb division.

Amir Khan"

afaik this is really the only physical thing you can do to help a chin, which is why we see PBF lifting weights with his neck all the time

I have the worst chin in the world though and make Amir Khan look like Arturo Gatti

Why does Mayweather bother doing that, he never gets hit.

Khan vs pretty much anybody would sell well in the UK. Despite his losses he is still a big name over here. I can't see him fighting Brook or anyone else like that, I don't think he can afford to lose 3 times in a row. They need to fight a washed up "name" like Breidis Presscot or someone who can't punch like Robert Guerrero.

ok, never gets hit apart from one dodgy round against Mosley. Mayweather could have the worst chin in boxing and none of us would know. A bit like how the guy in your avatar used to be.
