Whats the next topic of conversation ?

Tyson grew so agitated, he slammed his hand through a wall. Seated in the next room, where Tyson's fist protruded, was Spinks, who was "scared beyond scared," by the force of that blow
Running this scenario in my head makes me laugh a bit ...i would love to have been a fly on the wall in Spinks's dressing room.

I can imagine Tyson looking through the hole and growling at Spinks .. thats intimidation on another level.

Lets discuss Floyd Mayweather as the greatest welterweight of all time or that Joe Calzaghe is the greatest UK fighter of all time.

Or we could really spice it up and talk about the Klitschkos or Pac/May.

Anyone else devastated Gamboa Rios fell through?

Yeah, that would have been a good fight .. seems Gamboa did a runner.

I have no idea who would have won ... not sure how either would be at 135 .. Gamboa moving up and Rios staying at 135 when he looked pretty bad against Murray ...

If that Rios turned up against Gamboa then i see Gamboa doing a number on him.

I have a question ... Kell Brook v Amir Khan, who wins ?

I don't think we know enough about Kell Brook yet to make that assessment. I can see Brook being trouble for Khan though, he seems very accurate and Khan is kind of sloppy.

I disagree. I prefer Lennox

I hope they lose

or Pac/May.
I hope they never fight in their primes, both go bankrupt in their mid/late 40s, and end up fighting for $1.1m each in order to pay the bills.

If he dismantled the Pacman .... then i might agree with you.

Just dont think hes been in enough massive fights to call him the greatest ever ..

He just seems head and shoulders above anyone hes fought ... but i just wish he took more risks in his boxing career and fought more dangerous opponents at the right time.

Im still a massive fan though.

Baldomir ?

I sense some tongue in cheek in your remarks ....

just kidding around.
even if he beats pac he's not close in my opinion. neither pac or mayweather is probably top20 greatest welterweight of all time. Maybe they are in lower classes though, but not as welters.

froch vs. bute in UK(!!) actually happening? that makes me respect Bute a lot.

Ive not frequented this thread much until recently ... so i presume all the above topics have been done to death already ..

Bute obviously took a lot of confidence from watching Froch's last fight ... dont blame him tbh.

Anyone watching Lopez-Salido 2? Awesome fight. 9th round might be round of the year.

Absolutely the round of the year and probably the best fight you'll see all year. Wow, what a fight. This is what boxing used to be.

haha. Lopez is blaming his loss on a referee's supposed gambling problem.

Edit.... LOL The judges had Lopez winning. Even though he was getting out power punched 2 to 1.

well you gotta take it from the champ!! err.. wait a second...

That was an exciting one. Good thing Salido took him out in the 10th. If they let it continue, Lopez may have suffered permanent damage. However, I think these 2 fights have already taken a lot out of him. Salido too. Honestly though, I kind of saw that ending coming. Lopez switched up to come forward when he couldn't keep back pedalling. It was exciting while it lasted, but I thought it was because he was so gassed that he couldn't keep moving back.

They were wearing everlast gloves this time around. I was pretty sure they were wearing Reyes gloves the first time. I don't know how much of difference that made though.

Remember what happened in the first fight? All the crap that was being thrown into the ring. The judges probably just wanted to come out alive. LOL.

the ref probably saved juanmas career. he should wake the **** up and realize that when he watch the tape.

Imagine if he had gotten more damage on top of that? Holy crap. Salido throw every punch like hes looking to kill the opponent.
This is almost as bad as when Judah got upset when doing the breakdance against Tszyu.

I always tend to forgive fighters for the silly things they say after a fight, especially if they have had their head bashed in for 9 rounds like Lopez had.
