Yep BHop deserves major major props. Beating Dawson would definitely push his legacy towards ATG status. Although his run at MW probably already included him on that list.

And yea De La Hoya checked into rehab heard about it this morning on a boxing forum, a reason hasnt been released although rumors from close sources say its an alcohol and blow related issue. We'll just have to see, his twitter is wierd...always posting random pics of himself drunk and stuff at like 3am in bed. Wierd dude hope it works out for him

The push ups during the delay is classic BHop. He is a fool most of the time he isn't in the ring, but inside it hes an absolute legend. When will he ever stop? 50? 55? Get Calzaghe in the ring and have them go at it again.

Yeah, for the most part. The way Hopkins does it though, nope. He's a master at fighting inside. Always so genius inside the ring, which is mind boggling because outside of the ring hes a moran.

Pascal is not better than Dawson. Pascal is really limited as a fighter.

Dawson is a great technical fighter whos very hard to outpoint. Before Chad had a completely "off" night against Pascal, not many would have seen Bernard as a fav in that matchup.

I think it will be very interesting. Not sure who i would favor, but it will be a tougher fight than B-hop had against Pascal im sure.

(with that said, i wasn't very impressed with Chad tonight either)

Dawson is a much tougher fight for BHop but nowhere near as dangerous. With Pascal, who is indeed very limited and gasses within the first 3 rounds even in a non action fight, BHop had to always be weary of his power. Dawson hasnt stopped anyone in 4 years, but it will be tough for an older Hopkins to deal with Dawson's speed and technical brilliance. BHop can rough him up inside and make it tough for Dawson to get off and can also take more risks to keep the pressure on Dawson without necessarily having to worry about getting caught during an exchange.

I would never count hopkins out of any fight.

Bute is unproven having fought absolutely nobody and never outside of montreal. Dude was pretty much roasted by Librado Andrade lol. His biggest wins are vs Andrade, Joppy, and Bikia. Sick resume! A grand total of zero wins vs top ten competition

But dont worry, Bute will dodge and duck the **** out of Hopkins and continue to fight the Brian Magees of the world. And Bute possibly isnt any better than any of the super six participants, they'd all trash him.

I think Bute is highly thought of because of how he looks when he fights. I have high hopes for him, and like him as a fighter. Hypothetically, i think he beats Taylor, Abraham, Green. Hed probably beat Johnson too. Dirrell, Kessler and froch i'm unsure of. Andre Ward is super tough for anyone.

His resume is absolute garbage compared to some of the contestants in super6 tho. I never quite got how some people could say he was the #1 smw in the world. He might be, but i mean seriously. His best win is Sakio Bika.

Really tho? Better than Pascal? Pascal may be limited and has a lot of flaws but he is still a damn good fighter. Beating Chad Dawson is something Bute could never dream of doing. Also dont forget that Bute is a SMW while Pascal, Hop, Dawson are all campaigning at LHW. If Bute doesnt have the stones to fight a single top ten fighter in his own division, let alone any of the the super 6, why on earth would he ever fight the top guys in a heavier division? lol canadian bias ftw!

I think he clearly outshines Pascal as a fighter. With that said, i don't think Pascal is as a great as people rate him.

B-hop is a career middleweight and Pascal only moved to lhw two years ago.
Bute has a very large frame, and i don't think the size would be an issue.

Cool fight though. I actually would prefer Hopkins vs Bute over a fight with Chad. Let Chad fight Pascal and beat him up.

lets be honest, bute destroyed andrade for most of 23 rounds and he traded in one to please the fans and it almost cost him. (the 2nd fight was a joke)

hes been looking incredible and im sad the challengers arent being very interesting yet.

should change soon, cant wait for actual challenges
