You don't even need to see it to know it, just listen.

Amazing KO.

Martinez just loaded up his entire body and landed it perfectly on the button. Paul was throwing a big punch at the same moment but just glanced or missed with his. It would have been epic if they both landed simultaneously. We could have had a double KO.

Manny vs Sergio at 156 gogogo. There's no way Sergio lands such a slow loading punch on Manny though he would certainly have a good chance to win the fight overall.

Sick, first that sensational KO by Martinez in round 2, now BJ Penn by KO after 21 seconds in round 1..

This should pretty much seal the deal for fighter of the year for Martinez. There's been a lot of speculation, and Pascal and Martinez have been front runners amongst most pundits. But that is one hell of a tough act to follow for Jean Pascal (who? lol) with his upcoming match w/Bhop .

i never liked williams anyway. thats what he gets for having his hands down at his waist.

hands down, chin up in the air. it wont be the last time he gets knocked out either.

If you watch the video they put this ridiculous Burger King crown on Sergio's head and after they cut off his gloves he takes the crown off and looks at it like, "WTF? lol okay" and puts it back on.

It's a bit jumpy because I was trying to keep the size down:

here are 3 different angled ones I've found. the last one shows just how brutally out he was...eyes still open but clearly out cold.

I noticed that Martinez changed his gloves for the 2nd fight. I believe they were both wearing everlasts in the 1st one. Williams is still wearing the everlasts, but I'm pretty sure Martinez changed to the Cleto Reyes gloves, which are said to be a "punchers" glove. I wonder if this would have changed the outcome in the first fight because Williams looked really tired in the 2nd half of that fight,.

Those gifs are brilliant!

Loved the different angled ones as well, second one shows it best imo

I assume you mixed up Williams with Martinez, because Williams dominated the last few rounds of their first fight, while Martinez did nothing but clinch.

I hope they do a trilogy, but I have a feeling the result would be the same. Williams is too reckless and Martinez is deadly with that left hook.

Ward would destroy him. He's fought at light heavyweight before, and probably would be in that division now if all the talent wasn't at Super Middleweight. I'm of the opinion that Margarito is a very pedestrian boxer when he doesn't have cement in his gloves. I doubt we'll ever see Pacquiao fight a quality boxer the size of Margarito.

If you watch the GIF closely you'll see that Martinez intentionally drops his right hand to bait Williams into throwing a left hook, and then uses his body movement to both avoid Williams' shot and throw a monster counter left hook of his own. There was no way Williams was going to land in that exchange. The punch probably wouldn't land on Pacquiao because Pacquiao doesn't pressure straight ahead the way Williams does, so the situation wouldn't come up.

So you agree with the judge who only gave Martinez 1 round?
http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/will...corecard-31859

I saw the replay of the 1st fight last night right before the 2nd one. I think the 2nd half of the fight was close. Some rounds def should have been given to Martinez IMO. Focusing only on the gloves, I wonder if Martinez would have done a little more damage if he had Reyes on, instead of the everlasts.

A 3rd fight would be interesting in seeing if williams will actually make adjustments. His camp was saying that they really didn't need to do anything different leading up to the 2nd fight. Obv they were wrong. Maybe look to use his reach and just box?

I think we got a good look at why I thought even before the KO loss that Paul had no answers to Pacquaio. Paul's defense is just throwing a million punches and that's fine against most guys who will shell up and wait their turn that won't ever come since Paul just doesn't stop. If you are elite and will trade with Paul you can't help but hit him hard.

Another good weekend of boxing coming up this Saturday!

Juan Manual Marquez vs Katsidis
Ward vs Bika
Froch vs Abraham

As well, Andre Berto vs Freddy Hernandez, Celestino Caballero vs. Jason Litzau is on the undercard of the JMM card. Should be some great action packed fights and well worth tuning into.

And I really think Katsidis is going to win, I've got a hunch.

I really hope I don't look stupid after this weekend, lol. I think it's gonna be FOTY.
