You know what's comical to me? The organizing bodies constantly strip belts for the most ridiculous reasons ever, but in the division that needs the biggest shot in the arm, they apparently have no problem with two brothers who'll never fight each other trying to monopolize the belts.

**** the WBC, WBA, WBO and IBF.

Would there even be much hype about a Haye/Klitschko fight in America?

No. Haye is an unknown over here. That's what happens when your last fight in America was at the Playboy Mansion in 2003.

He really is a terrible self-promoter.

Although, from the LOL file, an excerpt from his updated Wikipedia page:

Astronomy

Haye is a reknowned and prolific author of cutting edge astronomic theory. In 2007 he delivered a lecture to the Belgian Society of Astronomy where he was quoted as saying that "All the evidence now points to there being intelligent life on the moon". Later that year he published a paper entitled "Celestial Pancake - Incontroversial proof that that our sun is flat"

The following is a list of his other publications on the subject.

"Space Whales - Behemoths of the Galaxy"

"The Martian Menace - Why we must destroy the red planet"

"Nazi's on the Moon! - Hitlers Secret Space Programme".

Poetry

Haye is one of England's most prolific poets. In 2005 he was awarded the prestigious Typhoo Tea award for his seminal collection of short verse, "The Cruel, Cruel Stoat". The titular work is reproduced below.

The cruel, cruel stoat layed his eggs in my throat, he murdered my goat, and sailed in my boat, to John of Groat.......ssss"

Another much loved piece from the collection is "Badgers Galore".

Badgers galore, but I have no more, An abundance of Shrews, yet I have but two, Hedghogs aplenty, but I have but twenty, Squirrels abound, yet none have I found, Weasels proliferate, but I have got only eight,

Favourite Chocolate Bar

Haye's favourite chocolate bar is the Cadbury's Chomp, and as a tribute to the confection he has named his plush six-bedroom Chelsea townhouse "Chomp House"
lol, don't expect it to stay up much longer.

Easily the most +EV scenario I can think of. But they'll **** it up, guaranteed.

Supposedly 700k people booked the Haye/Harrison fight at £15 a pop.

£10.5m

Not sure how they split all that between Sky and the fighters though.

That's a surprising amount of business for what should've been a ridiculously obvious outcome, unless I'm missing something.

Tbf they promoted this really well and alot of people bought into the hype, no way was I paying for it but did go to the pub and watch. Cost my local around £300 to get in.

Tried to get him to have a lock in for the Pacman fight but he wasnt having it.

yeah, that fight tells us nothing about Haye. What an abortion of a match, whoever the washed up opponent was needs to immediately retire. It seemed like he literally landed less than 3 punches that fight to me. Haye needs to stop talking and stop ducking the Klits, both of whom want to fight him and both of whom he has turned down.

And Hopkins -- who said he's voicing what other black fighters and fight fans are thinking but reluctant to say -- is wondering why Pacquaio hasn't fought Mayweather "or any other top-notch black fighter," according to the report.
Are you ****ing serious B-Hop?

This is beyond lol.

My favorite part was when Clottey came up and Hopkins said, "Clottey is 'black,' but not a 'black boxer' from the states with a slick style."

lol

This is no surprise to me.

Klitschko fights are always boring. Lots of jabs, then knockout in later rounds.

The two brothers fighting each other would be classic imo

Haye is at least quick and powerful, he does have a chance. I definitely agree he should be going after Wlad though, who has actually displayed a suspect chin at times. Vitali is ****ing Iron Man in comparison.

Vitali is just too damn hard to hit with his big ass arms deflecting away any attempted punch.

Wlad has definitely improved over the past few years but I think Haye would have a decent chance to beat him, dont really see it with Vitali, though that would be the bigger fight.

June - Haye/Wlad - Wembley = $$$$

The point is not as far off as you guys think and B-Hop is genuinely a pretty smart guy, considering the damage he's suffered. If you can't see the difference between Clottey and say a Jermaine Taylor, you're obtuse. He's goading someone to say either there aren't many elite black boxers and/or black people don't pay to watch black fighters.

Like, if B-Hop actually thinks Pacquiao should fight Timothy Bradley or Devon Alexander, lololol.

But that's not really the issue here imo. The insinuation on his part that Pacquiao's ducking Mayweather is insane.

Jermaine Taylor is an awful example of a slick black fighter. That guy's flat footed as hell.

According to Shane Mosley he met with Arum the other day and is 90% sure he's fighting Pacquiao next.

Sigh

I suppose it actually isn't that bad, considering that

A: Floyd can't be booked until the whole jail thing sorts itself out

B: Going up in any more weight would be insane
