just saw a tiny bit of the fight - man, that's the most ridiculous size differential I've ever seen outside the heavyweight division. If my wife saw it she would have been like "why are they letting that big nasty man fight that small boy?"

I guess Margarito's chin had more left to it than I thought it would.

If, like Kellerman suggested, Mayweather is waiting for Pacquiao to slow down before taking a fight against him Mayweather should consider the fact that he is getting older and slower every passing day as well. Not to mention the fact that PBF is older than Manny to begin with. Maybe when Floyd is 40 having gone through his millions with sports bets and legal settlements and Congressman Pacquiao has been out of boxing for years preparing to run for President of the Philippines, Mayweather will boldly call him out.

Well, if there was no one left for Pacquiao to fight before last night (other than the obvious), then there's really no one left for him to fight now.

Ditto for that punk ass bitch.

Margarito had a fractured orbital bone and needed surgery.

Pretty much everyone else in the world would get sympathy from me.

But he gets a LOL

Pacman moves up to dominate another weight class imo. Where else can you go?

lol, as awesome as this would be, I think it's pretty obvious super welterweight is the highest he can go. Purposely almost 6 pounds under the limit at a 150 catchweight is pretty telling.

Pac would legitimately start to run into problems at middleweight. I think someone like Sergio Martinez could seriously hurt him. Or maybe I'm off base...but I think super welterweight is Pac's limit.

couple of people want pac to fight marquez again.

scores of the first two fights:
I: 115-110, 113-113, 110-115 (draw)
II: 115-112, 112-115, 114-113 (win by split)

No, Pacquiao's effectively a natural welterweight now and Marquez can't fight properly past lightweight. They wouldn't be able to converge at a weight anymore that would actually make the fight interesting.

And I've got a feeling JMM will have one hell of a time with Katsidis. That could very well be fight of the year.

I think Pac would knock Marquez out within 5 rounds if they fought right now. I am not too interested in that fight, but a part of me wants Pac to fight him just to shut up the critics. Honestly, the only person that can give Manny a challenge is Floyd. Manny would knock out anybody else, unless he moves up yet again to fight PW or Martinez, but that's crazy.

Hahaha my wife and buddies gfs were like 'OMG, he's so small! He looks so harmless.' Can you imagine someone ****ing with Pac back in the day, before he became so well known? Dude's appearance is the most deceiving of any fighter I can think of.

Awesome display by Pacman. Ship it.

To be fair, the guy who scored it 113-113 the first time admitted he made a calculation error on his card and should have given pac the win.

Manny could probably go back down to 140 but perhaps not below that. Cutting about 5 pounds is trivially easy, but he probably doesn't want to do much more than that because he hasn't cut weight in a few years at this point.

I think JMM's fight with Katsidis will show how much he still has. I love watching Katsidis fight, but he should lose. Hate to say it, but probably by KO too because he only comes forward and is so aggressive. If Katsidis somehow wins convincingly. I would say JMM would have almost no chance against Pac at 140+. Pac has developed his right hand way more, since his 2nd fight against JMM. JMM can't just look for the jab-jab-straight anymore. He has to avoid right hook/uppercut combos too. More I think about it, JMM would have a really tough mountain to climb against Pac.

If JMM vs Pac 3 ever happened, I would say Pac would be effective countering the counterpunching master.

Don't even worry about Pac-JMM III. I really think Katsidis is going to win the lightweight belts.

I have my doubts about this. I would love to see Katsidis win, but I agree with the odds I see. JMM is about a 3 to 1 fav and I feel this is about right. It would feel great to be proven wrong on this. Now, I can't wait for this fight!

was gone to a training camp for this, but our team got to watch it at Boston Pizza after a hard day of sport specific testing, but it was amazing to see over pizzas and a wily crowd. Was the only one from my team going for pac (wtf? lol) but 1/2 of them are mexican so there was that. just an awesome display.

think Pac was gliding in the last few rounds, releasing he hurt Marg as much as was needed. Yea, he's just that cool.

Vitali Klitschko says he wants to sign a contract with David Haye to fight in spring 2011 within "the next month".

Haye retained his WBA heavyweight title when he demolished Audley Harrison, while Klitschko is the WBC champion.

Klitschko is the older brother of IBF and WBO champion Wladimir and wants to fight Haye first because "Wladimir will kill him".

Vitali Klitschko told the BBC: "Stop talking. I'm ready to sign any time, let's make the fight in springtime."

He continued on BBC Radio 5 live : "No excuses any more, he talks too much, he's a great talker, but the question is, is he a good fighter or not?

"He's world champion by talking. Let's fight. Let's go."

Vitali Klitschko added he would offer Haye a 50-50 deal and is prepared to fight him anywhere in the world.

"Let's discuss where we would fight. Let's fight in the United States. I listened to a great proposal for Madison Square Garden. I'm ready to fight in the US, Germany or Great Britain," Vitali Klitschko added.

"Let's make contract. Straightaway we are ready to sign the contract - I want to fight David Haye."
I think Haye would have a better chance against his brother, lets see if one of the 2 fights happen.

I've noticed that a lot of Boston Pizzas show boxing, that's cool because they're all over the place. Pac vs Margarito was the best one sided fight I've ever seen.

I thought that Haye would have no shot against Wlad/Vitali. Watching Haye/Harrison, I've changed my mind. If Haye's able to get in quickly and land, he has a shot. I agree with you, Haye's got a better chance against Wlad. I think Vitali's style gives Haye more problems. Haye's lighter weight and speed at HW is a big advantage for him.
