I can, it's easy to watch this fight and forget that Manny and PBF are the Peyton Manning and Bizzaro Peyton Manning of boxing. Would be an epic fight. Just imagine the OP a fight like that would spawn.

floyd vs manny is like the ultimate clash of styles - floyd prolly the only fighter who has the skills to neutralize mannys speed and mannys prolly the only fighter with talent to destroy floyds defense. shame the fight will prolly never happen

wonder if odds will change this week, they were down as of now, but -130 +116 this week

i played with pacquia at commerce, sat right next to him, very down to earth coolest guy bought me beers all night, when the last call came i cleared my mini bar and hooked him up with beers til first call came back

nicest guy u could meet in a sport where being extra cocky is the norm

just scanned the wiki on Manny...is his claim that a blood test within 30 days of Mayweather fight would weaken him legit? Exactly how much blood do they need to take?

It wouldn't, but he's superstitious. He eventually agreed to a closer cut-off but at that point the camps had already pissed each other off enough that things broke apart anyways.

Just incredible. He's so much better than everyone else, it's scary.

Glad I went out to watch it now.

Geddy's A+ PBF post in the Hater's Ball deserves a bump.

Sorry, I've asked the same question after Pacman's previous fights, but where the hell does Margarito go from here?

nah.. it's not legit. However, Manny agreed to a 7 day cut-off during the second negotiations.

Pacquiao's stick-stick-roll combination is so good, so accurate, so quick, so scary...so beautiful.

Greatest offensive fighter I've ever seen. I'm very wary about throwing out GOAT titles in boxing discussions, but has there ever been a fighter as dangerous as him? (Edit: Tyson, duh, stupid comment from me.) Has there ever been a fighter who scores as efficiently as he does? I'm hard pressed to think of anyone who even comes close, honestly. Leonard probably comes closest.

Margarito prob goes to a higher weight class.

Not sure if I can put Pacman him above Sugar Ray Robinson just yet.

I'm trying to think of a 12-0 shutout fight that was anywhere close to as entertaining as that one and I'm coming up blank. There's a lot of close fights that aren't nearly as good as that one. I did not expect Manny to start going to war with Margarito in the 2nd round. Maybe the 8th or 9th if he felt like he was somehow breaking him down but I never expected it so early.

I thought Manny might get KO'd when Margarito landed those nasty body shots and clearly hurt Manny very badly. Likewise some of Manny's body shots looked to really bother Margarito in the early and mid rounds.
