Bert Sugar, Max Kellerman and Teddy Atlas all reported the fight was a done deal last time around, so it's gonna take a lot more than Elie ****ing Seckbach to convince me.

However, having said that...

ONE TIME DEALER COME ON

Sorry to break all the pac/floyd love(and thats gonna be a great fight dont get me wrong) but -

Saturday the 22nd, we having Vazquez-Marquez IV, which own Fight of the year in 2008 and 2009, on showtime(non ppv)...

These guys are just pretty much saying ''screw our careers, we just want to fight each other till death''.

Epic fourth match(and rivalry) in the making.

hopefully that's on UK TV somewhere, or other methods can be found

IMO, half of any of the 3 first Vazquez-Marquez fights will have better action than the Pac-Mayweather fight. Vazquez and Marquez deserve PPV type compensation for the way they fought. Unfortunately, not enough people know about them.

I'm going to make sure I study enough during the day for my CFA exam so that I can cut it off in plenty of time to watch tonight's fight. They're matched up so well.

You guys watch Friday Night Fights at all? Last nights fight wasn't bad, crazy Russian and a crazy Korean won their fights last night. Does anyone have any idea what kind of purses those fights get?

IMO, it's time for Vazquez to retire. That cut opened up over the entire length of his eyelid so easily. IMO, a fourth fight was a bad idea. A fifth one would be even worse.

I agree. When Freddie Roach and Vazquez parted after the first fight Roach said he was already starting to slur his words even then. Roach thought he should have taken a year to heal after the first fight. At a minimum Vasquez took this fight too soon, not giving the eye time to heal from his last recent fight. Regardless he looked like an old fighter last night. He should take this payday and run.

Does anybody else have problems with the Showtime live boxing broadcasts? I have no problem with their replays. But all their live boxing semi-pixilate and blur the action. HBO live boxing is fine for me.

Mayweather says “I have him [Pacquiao] a chance, up to 14 days out [during their last failed negotiations in February]. But my new terms are all the way up to the fight. They can come get use whenever, all the way up to the fight, random drug test. That’s what it is.”

Yep. I was afraid he'd do that. Why was a 14 day cut off OK in January but not OK now?

Mayweather plainly ducking now imo, no denying it.

it's not like random blood tests up to 14 days prior + after the fight would be ineffective compared to random blood tests up to the the day of the fight.

Seeing that the last blood test for Mayweather Mosley was greater than 14 days before the fight, 14 days should not be a problem. IIRC, the last one was 18 days before the fight. The selfish part of me wishes Pac wasn't so superstitious about the blood tests, so that they can just fight, but I understand that egos are at play here. Also, being a congressman, Pac's boxing days are almost done and he may actually be looking forward to life after fighting.

Who knows one day could be enough to cycle with all the technology scientists have to make some kind of super steroid. Pac also might be taking diuretics to help with the weight cut. I can totally see where PBF is coming from.

I have to admit, I was a little sad after watching the Vazquez-Marquez fight. Vazquez has been one of my fav active fighters. The skin above his left eye looked bad before the fight. It's been a great run, but Vazquez needs to quit, IMO.

I hope Marquez fights Darchinyan and knocks him out senseless.

Pac uses diuretics to help with the huge cut he makes nowadays?

Pac needs to gain weight, not cut it.

i don't think anyone can really defend Floyd at this point. Blatant, blatant ducking.

What exactly has changed since they last negotiated? Some Filipino super-congressional steroids hit the market?
