Well thats sort of true but sort of not. He is certainly a top player and good enough for a top Premier League side.

dont think he will go this summer , if he does it will no doubt be England I hope not but if he does I have a feeling we will see these two together again as Baines will be a target for a few sides in the summer and the LB position at Everton might need filled

He's def going to be worth less than Baines just now for the fact Baines is proven at Premiership level and teams know the SPL has less money so they can offer less anyway.

Is he looking like he'll be ok for the final Marty? I read Ledley and Kayal are out?

Celtic shouldn't need to sell though which should ensure he goes for a fair price if he does leave.

That may be true but I'm sure teams could offer less to tempt Celtic than if he was performing well for say Villa.

Lets face it Scottish teams always get screwed over with transfer fees. I may be biased but I'd value our keeper Randolph at around £2mil taking everything into account but we'll prob get offered about £600k

If Alan ****ing Hutton brought in £8 million for the Huns, I'm sure Izaguirre will fetch a pretty damn good return.

It'll suck when he leaves, but for a £600k investment, we're laughing.

exactly, plus i doubt there is a will to sell him (unless the directors want rid) from Lennon, meaning Celtic can demand a crazy price for him.(obv that changes if the player demands to leave and starts acting the ****)

no idea if he'll be ok for the final, but i'm sure we will find out tomorrow night.

no idea why we're even talking about him leaving tho, can't remember the last time we signed a player then got rid at the first opportunity for profit, i just isn't the way Celtic work.

Players like Ledley and Hooper were brought here under the assumption that there'd be European football. If we're not playing in Europe next year, try convincing them to stay here for another season.

Also, gg title chances, 2-0 Huns 25 minutes in, Jelavic and Lafferty. Dundee Utd. totally outclassed in this first half, I'm not even gonna bother watching the 2nd half.

saw first half before something happened to the tv in the gym

seems like didn't miss much tho , dont understand how Dundee Utd were saying they were going for it as they needed to win yet leave Daly who scored a hat trick last game on the bench til they are 2-0 down.

as mentioned before was in the gym so was I seeing things or was the rangers banner spelt Walter Smith Legned ?

They didn't need to win, they did if they wanted 3rd but that was a slim slim chance. He obv has to come out and say he's still trying for 3rd though. As I said bad time to play them as they want Rangers to win League to get Europe. Think of yourself only, not other teams imo. Would have been same story for Motherwell Celtic last day of season if Rangers needed a Celtic defeat so works both ways I'm afraid

yes, richard gordon had an amazing line about it on the radio. acted all serious "..and the rangers fan are honoring their long serving manager with a banner saying simple... water leg ned"
