where did you get that?

on 6th november last season, celtic were in third place in the SPL, behind motherwell.

it's normal for it to be tight at this stage and it would be brilliant if hibs/aberdeen/whoever can keep up till the end of the season.

Popular consensus amongst who?Celtic fans?I don't remember many saying that we'd be running away with the league come November.

We're top of a league that we were third in this time last year and we're still in with a decent shout in the CL (which I think is obv the priority right now).

I think most Celtic fans would have been delighted with that at the start of the season.

Looking back over the thread I can't find one Celtic fan saying we'd be running away with the league come November (let alone enough to make it the popular consensus) but they were wrong to say it if they did.

I thought we'd win the league but by no greater margin than last year and that was before qualifying for the group stages changed priorities.

Fenlon has worked wonders with them.He has a great record in the Irish league having managed and played in it for years.

I thought it might take him a while to get to grips with the spl but he has hibs flying just now.
