Nobody said the gameplan for beating Barca at Nou Camp when your wage bill is about 1/10th their size is pretty, but Celtic stayed compact and organized for a full 90 minutes and defended exceptionally well against probably the best attacking side in the world. Ambrose and Wilson were absolute lions over the full 90.

Lennon said they were there to win, everyone laughed. Given the circumstances, they played about as well as anyone could've possibly imagined.

If they get to the KO stages, Celtic will be a tough out for just about anyone in the draw. Doubt they'll win a round but I don't think anyone will be looking forward to making the trip to Parkhead for that tie either.
