They did the draw 3.5 years ahead of time for the 2015 WC and ended up with 3 of the worlds top 5 in a pool (England/Wales/Australia.

So now they do it again and will likely get similar results.

Idiotic.

I was wondering why they do that but which group is gonna be that much tougher than the rest? A, B and C look reasonable.

This particular case none stand out but that's mainly because Argentina drew Japan.

If anything Pool C could easily have zero top 6 teams come WC

Genuine chance for Scotland to win the 6 nations.

Non red down to 14 and throw the lead away with a few minutes to go.

Brilliant, you could write it! Although you’d expect is to **** it up on the final day!

Ryan Jones diagnosed with dementia at 41. Maybe professional rugby is just not a good idea. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/r...box=1657991409

To bump the above from two years ago.

The top 4 teams are all in groups A and B, meaning at least two if not more will be eliminated before the semi-finals.

Blessed draw for Australia, but still a ridiculous system

For those in the UK, I consider myself to have a pretty strong stomach, but that was a very, very hard watch.

The game needs to be making some serious changes.

ireland faves over the all blacks in a world cup quarter final, who would've thought it.

win/win for the irish lads, either they win and advance to the semi final or they get to join their good pals wales and scotland on the england bandwagon

Not particularly looking forward to the looming talk of how Ireland were idiots to not #takethepoints

every good team needs at least a couple of short fat lads (or, at the very least, medium and fat), cant seem to see any of those in the NZ set up. must be why they are underdogs

looks to my untrained eye like ireland are just stronger than the nz lads. i can see this being a pretty one-sided half as the kiwis tire and ireland's fats take control

Wingers wearing the Petr Cech helmet don't look right btw. Should be reserved for forwards

Christian Cullen was probably the most famous player who wore a scrum cap, and he was an All Black back.

Meanwhile, clear red card in the stands here, clear tip tackle

First 10 minutes of FRA/RSA has been breathtaking.
How this is only a QF is mind boggling.
