Yeah that is a really dumb move especially when you have Folau on the end of them, he is gonna win them 100% of the time.
One thing that really bugs me about Irish teams, past & present is the fact they seem to go to ground so easily in the tackle. Just watch out for it this game. Standing up in the tackle means a chance of an offload or committing more guys to making the tackle which equals more space when you release. Yes this may slow the ball down but you aren't doing anything with it anyway + you are risking a penalty by holding on as you aren't allowing your teammates to get into the ruck.
