Boogaard spent years fighting the NHL for access to Derek’s medical records. They showed during his final 2 years in the NHL, doctors with 7 teams gave Derek 13 Toradol injections. During the 2008-09 season alone, he was prescribed 1,021 pills from a dozen different doctors.
